A while ago, Berry suggested I post some pictures of my SC Jill costume.
I don't know if you can see it, but it was actually snowing while we were taking these pictures. I was wearing shorts, and Alexandanor (who was taking the pictures) was wearing sandals.



^^This knife is actually my dad's from when he was in Boy Scouts. I liked it so much I threatened to keep it even after the costume party.

I made/altered everything but the bodysuit and wig, (my hair is not naturally blonde, though almost everyone who came to the party and saw me said I looked good as a blonde and should dye it. 😛 ). The armour is made from foam, painted with acrylic paint, and coated with a varnish. The same goes for the purse, though it has a cardboard base. The purse also lights up, and has room enough to put things inside: I used it to store balls for me to throw (which you see me holding). The strap has table tennis balls lining it and were given a coat of pearlizing paint for the shimmer effect. I was able to find a dress already made in the style of hers, I just had to do the stripes. I painted the boots and also a headband to replace her helmet as I didn't have time enough to make one. All in all it was hard work but it paid off in the end. ^.^
