The ninja drawing is about the same size it was originally. But the one of the guy on the horse is about double or three times its original scale.

Somewhat rough sketches for my taste, but I suppose with those you get better final results?

Alex prefers doing small sketches (akin to storyboard drawings) because he doesn't like to come up with a lot of detail. 😆 But he does want to move on to more detailed things, and larger, once he's been drawing a little longer.

Yes! I understand that feeling well. My problem is I am never satisfied with lack of detail in my own drawings. 😀 sort of weird for me. His drawings are really good, though. Can you get him to draw William Reynolds? 😆 (half kidding)

Ah, indeed. I'm that way a little, too. I wish I could come up with better detail for costumes in my sketches but I never can. 🙁

On a different note, here's a thing I did with pastels. (Not my favorite medium, by the way. There's almost no way to correct your mistakes! Arggggggg...)
