Happy Star Wars Day! In 2020 I rewrote the sequel trilogy (don't remember if I mentioned it on the forums or not) and that's what this drawing is from because I have a much easier time drawing something from an AU than from the movies.

I don’t remember you re-writing the sequel trilogy, but with my memory, that’s not saying much! Willing to bet it’s way better than the films.
Anyway, the art! I’m a sucker for contrast, and this piece leans right into it!

(@hobbit and Lily: I've moved your last couple of posts to the Star Wars discussion thread. Just so you know where they went off to!)

A take on Julie, a character from a canceled Disney XD cartoon called Motorcity. Scifi with bright colors, vroom-cars, rebels against a dystopia, and some incredible hammy villains.

Pic is a mix of colored pencils and fineliner pen.

I haven't done much art at all this fall (or really this summer either...) but I did draw Pippin for Hobbit Day and I don't believe I posted it on TLC.

After Mom died Dad said I could use her iPad and stylus for drawing and that's been a huge game changer, being a really nice balance between digital and traditional art.

The hair too so long, haha. But it definitely helped to have an eraser that actually works, albeit a digital one.

I scribbled out a couple of quick sketches yesterday. The Baymax one has been on my mind for a few years, while the one of Grogu and Morph was a spur-of-the-moment piece inspired by a brief conversation I had with a friend.

Grogu and Morph is a glorious combination I won't be able to get out of my head now. πŸ˜€

Haha, thank you! That one began with a remark about Grogu’s need for a babysitter who could constantly keep an eye on him, which led my friend and me to think of Morph (who had those exact directions to watch Jim). And then we decided they’d make great playmates. πŸ˜€

Ariel, those are delightful. πŸ˜† The Baymax and Hiro one especially had me laughing.
