I wrote 1300 words yesterday. It's the second most I've done in a day, and the first time since the first day I've passed 1000, so while it doesn't sound that amazing, it's good for me. I'm on about 7 300 total. I don't know how you guys that want to reach the 50k target do it.

More importantly, I'm getting dangerously close to the end of the story (though I'm sure wrapping up will take a lot longer than you'd think).

Also, I should confess that I've skipped a significant chunk (basically the entire journey to the next point), which I'll obviously have to come back to but I needed to jump ahead or I wasn't going to get anything written.

I've had to do that in the past too, Ajjie. It really does help to just skip ahead and go back and write the part you skipped.

I'm giving up. My story is going absolutely no where and I can't skip ahead because I have no idea what should happen. I might try to keep writing, but I think I'm going to fall back on my Narnia fanfic because I have that one planned out and it should be much easier to write. Now I just have to find the time to do it!

So I've just passed the 18k mark. Still a bit behind, but doing good considering I accidentally lost a good 1-3k portion of my novel the other day and have been struggling balancing my schedule.

I'm very proud of my word count 😀

I finally passed 10 000 last night!! In fact, I beat my record by writing 2 600 in one day. I'd already written quite a bit before dinner, and then we had a thunderstorm all evening and had to keep the modem unplugged. So I wrote some more.

I'm getting there!!

I hit 5,100 last night thanks to word wars with Tenny, Islie, Gypsy, and Kristi. 🙂

Thanks to a 20 minute word war with Kristi and Tenny I wrote 1,139 words and got just past 25,000 words. I have 25,178 words and I'm going to get more, as I am staying up all night tonight to write. I hope I can write 10,000 words tonight. Go me! 😀 *races towards NaNo finish line* I will persevere!!!!!

**edit: I got 10k words more now! I have 34k+. 🙂 Eeeeeeeeeee!

Some of you might have noticed that I haven't written anything, and that I haven't been on TLC much, either. School has just taken over this month, sadly. My semester ends the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so if I get any of my story written at all, it will have to be after that. I'll probably end up doing more math, science, and reading books from the library during those days, but we'll see. In any case, I should be able to come on TLC more often after that last day of school!

I read a few of the story excerpts on the other thread. All of you guys are amazing! 😀
