Okay, so I was browsing the internet, and I read something that put me in mind for a story.
But I'm not sure that it's any good. Why don't you read the little introduction I wrote and tell me what you think?
If you were ever to be searching for Sarah-Jane Turner, the first place you would look would be in her fatherβs study, reading and re-reading The Chronicles of Narnia. She had a strange obsession with Narnia. It was so strange, in fact, that even her twin sister, Mary-Ann Turner, couldnβt explain it, and she knew her twin inside and outside. There was never a secret between them.
Or, at least, thatβs what Sarah-Jane would have everyone believe.
See, Sarah-Jane Turner, to the real world, was a perfect angel: always staying out of trouble and being nice to everyone and all that disgustingly sweet and mushy jazz. It makes my stomach just churning writing about how perfect she acted in front of everyone.
But, little did anyone know that Sarah-Jane Turner had a completely different identity on the internet, or, more specifically, Fanfiction. Everyone hated her there, but they could do nothing about it.
Why? Because she was a Mary-Sue writer. And not by accident.
No, she did it purposely. For money. Yes, you heard right: she was paid to write horribly, heart-wrenchingly disgusting Mary-Sue Narnia fanfictions that made Narnia fans cry. She had even been able to bring some anti-Narniacs to their knees with her stories.
Yes, she was a Mary-Sue writer, and a pure genius at it!
So, what do you think? Do you think it's good enough to be posted on Fanfiction, or should I take it down and bury it? Or do you think it's good, but could use a few tweaks?
Please be honest. π
Yes, please post it!
Ooh, that's interesting... please write it!
What makes my stomach churn is not the perfect angel she is (*cough* real-life Mary-Sue? π― π ), but that she's a purposeful (and paid! (how does one get paid for fanfiction? heehee)) Mary-Sue writer.
You're bound to get an audience here at the very least, Dilly. π
Definitely write it, Dilly!
