We were at Wal-mart and browsing in the movie section (trying to find DOS EE... without luck ๐ ) and I saw Reign, that TV show Anna Popplewell was on...
Also saw a copy of the Maze Runner book and thought of Will Poulter.

Saw VODT in the five-dollar movie section of a store. Wondered how on earth they could put a Narnia movie on the five-dollar movie rack????????? Then wanted so much to buy it even though we already have it... MLIN
@Jaygee: The DVD version doesn't come out till 4 Nov.
Was looking through my closet for things to sell and found my fur coat. Of course I had to put it on and even when it was too warm to wear it! ๐

Heard This is Home on the radio and squeed inwardly. ๐

Saw a picture of a very pale woman with very defined features and blonde hair and immediately asked myself, "Whoa, is that Tilda Swinton?!" After a second look, I don't think so, but she looks rather similar. MLIN
Saw a vintage fur coat.

Was talking with a BB friend, and she mentioned that for Halloween a few years ago, her brother was Herod (the baby killer) and a kid asked him if he was Edmund. Another year, he was a disciple and the kid's sister asked if he was Peter. He said that he wasn't Peter but he was a disciple of Jesus. She said, "Peter wasn't a disciple of Jesus! He's the High King of Narnia!" They were also convinced that Narnia was in the Bible.

I discovered a song on Monday. Some of the lyrics are "It's like learning to fly" (thought of Fledge) and "You believe and you doubt" (Susan). MLIN
Was watching a show at Disney, and Maleficent appeared and said something about nightmares coming true. Immediately thought of Dark Island.

I was watching SA's Got Talent (our version of America's Got Talent etc.) and the announcer was asking one of the semifinalists where she was from. It was some tiny little village no one is heard of and he said "Where in Narnia is that?" Not only is it a big deal that he mentioned Narnia on public television, but I generally don't expect the average South African of non-Christian and non-European background to have even heard of Narnia. ๐

Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
Whoa, that's cool!
Was playing a rather stupid game when LWW got mentioned. And named. ๐ MLIN
Listened to 'Music Inspired By LWW' and read LWW for the nth time...
Saw a landscape that reminded me of Cor and Co's journey to Archenland.
Rock formations reminded me of Ettinsmoor.
Saw a nice looking lamp-post.
Watched some horses that looked like I imagine Hwin and Bree to look.
Noticed that some songs I've heard before can have relations to Narnia.
Thought of Narnia while talking about a white stag.

So I was doing research for my PhD and I was reading some texts by this Ancient Greek guy named Lucian, and this line suddenly popped up in one of his pieces:
"There is no need of anyone to strip away your lion's skin that you may be revealed a donkey..."
Me: what!!!????!!!!!!!
I did a bit more research (completely unrelated to what I was supposed to be researching :P) and discovered that Lucian was referring to one of Aesop's fables in which a donkey dresses up in a lion skin and pretends to be a lion

My dad was talking to me: "Well, we have some extra time on our hands."
Me: "So what are we going to do?"
Dad: "Well, there are a number of places we could go, but I think the quickest and easiest would just be to go to the wardrobe."
Me: ๐ฏ
Turns out what he actually said was "Wartburg". ๐
