Watched a docu-drama on WWI and one of the 'characters' reminded me of Poulter's Eustace.

Thought I heard someone call someone else "Gwen". Couple seconds later, I was thinking of Gwendolyn. MLIN
The priest in Princess Bride describes marriage as a "dream within a dream". You can guess where I went from there. MLIN
Inigo Montoya and movie!Caspian are forever correlated in my mind if only because Ben Barnes watched Princess Bride in order to pick up the accent. MLIN
Studied something with a "gastrovascular" cavity or something like that. MLIN
As Dad's been reading "The Hobbit" to us, I've been noticing so many connections with Narnia books, especially SC. Stone-ish giants playing a game that involved throwing stones? Wow. MLIN
EDIT: So who first came up with the idea for magic horn that always brings help...Tolkien or Lewis? Sheesh. MLIN
Watched an episode of Dick Van Dyke last night about eavesdropping, where they said something about, "We're not eavesdropping! We're playing!" Thought of VDT Lucy.
MLIN
I was typing out the name "Alan" today, but accidentally spelled it "Asan", which made me think I'd typed "Aslan". MLIN
Misread someone's last name (Marma) as Narnia! I freaked out for a second! I want Narnia to be my last name!
Ooh, just remembered that I now have a Narnian license plate. 😀
That moment when I realize that I'm using a Puddleglum-like argument in a creation vs. evolution debate. *facepalm*
MLIN
The fact that Mount Doom erupts right after the Ring is destroyed reminded me of that Puddleglum line from SC:
"I'll tell you what it is. That Witch has laid a train of magic spells so that whenever she was killed, at that same moment her whole kingdom would fall to pieces. She's the sort that wouldn't so much mind dying herself if she knew that the chap who killed her was going to be burned, or buried, or drowned five minutes later."
MLIN
HAHAHA, that's great, guys!
Someone I know has collections upon collections of trinkets and jazz and basically gave me a tour of some of what she's got. Some of them looked rather Narnian, such as the two bells with unicorns on top. MLIN
It was 1:30 AM and my sister asked me to get her some water so I sneaked out of my room and wandered cautiously to the kitchen where I grabbed a cup. I was immediately reminded of Eustace trying to take an extra ration of water.
I bought another set of Narnias. Now I have around 10.
When talking about goats my mind wandered to Mr Tumnus.
I heard a song on the radio - forget it now - but it reminded much of Narnia.
MLIN
Studied insect naiads today. MLIN
Brought up Narnia several times in a spiritual discussion last night, mainly LB. (And even cried for the sheer wonder of it all.) MLIN
