I was browsing Pinterest and I stumbled across ta picture that made me think "Wardrobe. Narnia." MLIN
EDIT (11th July): I saw a door in leading to nowhere. I wanted to open it, but it was being worked on 🙁
Saw a license plate that said Corin. MLIN
Was doing personal devotions and read that Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem and fortified them. Thought of the three towers in LB. MLIN
I'm also writing my third Narnia song. I like writing songs about Narnia. (I wish Narnia was a musical so I could sing the songs! 🙂 ) MLIN
And I have misread "Namibia" as "Narnia" three times on the past week. Apparently it's contagious, because others in my family saw it as "Narnia", too. MLIN
My eyes about bugged out when I saw that the title page of my LB book was torn. 😯 MLIN
Heard Owl City's "When Can I See You Again" and started planning a PC music video slideshow. MLIN
Watched a red moon (yes, a red moon) rise tonight and thought of the end of Narnia and the last days of Charn. 🙂 MLIN
When I was at Berry's house once, we saw that the back cover of her Narnia book was ripped (we have identical Narnia books) and we both gasped tragically. MLIN
Also, she and I sometimes sneak around outside at night pretending we're centaurs or fauns or dryads trying to get past Telmarine outposts. (We have way too much fun being Narnia fanatics!) MLIN
Aygee, other cousin who doesn't have an account, and I sometimes play that other cousin's brother and the other boys at our co-op are Telmarines or Calormenes, depending on our mood, and we're Narnians who have to hide from them. 😀 MLIN
Saw a donkey today. Thought of Puzzle. It wasn't even grey, it was black and white, but I thought of him anyway. That one I know is because of the reading challenge! MLIN
Saw a robin that preceeded me down a path for a little bit. I said to my companion that I wished it'd lead me to a beaver. He didn't follow my meaning till I said it was a Narnia reference. 🙂 MLIN
Whenever I come down my street, I pass a house with a gate, and, on both sides of the gates, there are small statues of roaring lions, perched on part of a wall. I think of Narnia every single time. MLIN
There's a statue shop we pass a lot that has a lot of statues of animals and mythological creatures out in front. I don't know what the store's real name is, but my brothers and I call it the White Witch's courtyard. MLIN
Also saw a baseball player with "Pug" on the back of his jersey. Thought "Oh no...hope that isn't the British Consul!" MLIN
Found a baby bird that was fully feathered but couldn't fly. (I love baby bird rescue!!) Named him Farsight Reuel. MLIN
There was a thick, heavy fog where I live this morning (right up 'til lunchtime!) and I thought to myself, "Hmm...this must be partially what an enchantment looks and feels like!" MLIN
I passed a gate while going on a walk that was grey and had very unwelcoming spikes on the top. Thought of the White Witch's courtyard. MLIN
Was reading a random story, totally unrelated to Narnia, where one of the characters yells "I am the queen of the underworld!". Thought of The Lady of The Green Kirtle. MLIN
We were listening to some Ronald Reagan quotes, and there was one of a story he told about a guy who tried to teach his son-in-law to golf and the boy missed the ball the first two times and hit an ant hill instead both times. When he went at it the third time, one ant said to another, "If we want any chance of surviving this, we need to get on the ball!" Thought of giants, cockshies, and Puddleglum immediately.
MLIN
I was watching Frozen and I got to the scene with the wolves, and I thought of Maugrim and his wolf gang. MLIN
Also while watching Frozen, I took note of the singing at the start, and I heard them singing "Narnia" a few times, even though they probably actually weren't. 🙂 MLIN
When I was eight maybe, my parents bought a wardrobe, and the only place I'd ever heard the word "wardrobe" before was from Narnia. I was so disappointed when there was a back to it! MLIN
