Okay, I finally thought of one. 😛 That took a while...

Tidings I carried of sorrow and grief;
Messages brought from a fallen friend;
Light in the air as an autumn leaf,
And loyal to the end.

(So maybe that one is pretty easy...but whatever. At least I finally got it to rhyme, after several tries. 😆 )

I almost said the LWW dryad, but the last line of your rhyme didn't fit. 😛

Let's see....

Alone and friendless now I be -
indeed, not another soul to see!
Though I'm strong, I cannot flee:
from this curse I can't be free.
To any who follow, caution ye,
lest ye fall and end like me.

I feel like I know who this is, I just can't think of their name!!!! I really want to say Rabadash, but that's not right, is it?

Not Rabadash, but you're kind of on the right track.

@Ariel: I was going to do the dryad initially, but then I couldn't get a verse to work out with rhyming.

"Kind of on the right track"...which could mean...almost anything. 😐
Rilian maybe?

@hobbit: Hmm, I see your point. It very nearly works for Rilian, but it's not him.

Father Time...? He's not really under a curse, though. 😕
