I really like it, especially since the colour helps the illustrations pop. My only suggestion would be to vary the amount and/or vibrancy of colour since there's too much for the mind to lock onto and focus on. Besides that, though, it's a cool collage!

Probably just parts. Pick out the images that you want to stand out the most (and that preferably don't have too much going on in them) and leave them be; then tone down the others. If you can, it'd also be cool if you could "fade" the effect around the still-vibrant ones so they have a natural transition from one to the other. But that might just be me. 🙂
