I do like Faramir. Even though they messed him up in TTT, they made him uber-cool in RotK (even though they messed with Denethor to do it, but I didn't mind that change so much).
Eomer is Eowyn's brother and new king of Rohan. They did almost nothing with him in the movie. In the books, he has that encounter with Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli, then gets thrown into jail, then in liberated, has this connection with Aragorn, was actually with them for all of Helm's Deep, and fought side-by-side with Aragorn in the battle of the Pelennor Fields, and...! Yeah. Suffice to say he was way cooler in the book. 🙂
