For Ajnos, here are my favorite Tolkien quotes from Roverandom:
"He vanished immediately into thin air; and anybody who has never been there will tell you how extremely thin the moon-air is."
"Roverandom sat down and scratched; he didn't think the explanation explained."
"It took some time to find a hole of any sort, and they were very wet and cold before they did: in fact so miserable that they took the first shelter they came to, and no precautions--which are the first things you ought to take in unfamiliar places on the edge of the moon."
"This was really a window-seat on the first floor (an indoors window)--there are no stairs in sea-houses, and no umbrellas, and for the same reason; and there is not much difference between doors and windows, either."
"He took a little wand out of his waistcoat-pocket--it was really his fountain-pen, but it was no longer any use for writing: mer-folk use a queer sticky ink that is absolutely no use in fountain-pens--and he waved it over Rover."
Greetings! Today I have another pin-board for DaughterofEve3. This time some Narnia fan art. Enjoy!

For Ajnos:
Once I discovered a game called "Adjectives" in a book that was probably published in the 1880s. The idea is, the players write a list of adjectives, and then substitute them for all the adjectives in a story that one of the players has written. Here is a game of Adjectives for you.
Write a numbered list of 28 adjectives without looking at the story below (in small text). Then, copy the story into a document and replace each numbered space with the corresponding adjective from your list. Enjoy!
Once upon a time, there was a(n) ___1___ hedgehog that lived near a(n) ___2___ ___3___ tree. There seemed to be ___4___ ___5___ creatures living there, but the ___6___ hedgehog had never met any of the tree's ___7___ residents. One day, the ___8___ hedgehog decided to bake some ___9___ treats to bring to its ___10___ neighbors. So the ___11___ hedgehog made ___12___ ___13___ cookies, put them on a(n) ___14___ plate, and brought them to the ___15___ tree. The hedgehog couldn't find a(n) ___16___ door to knock on, so it called out loudly, and a(n) ___17___ badger poked its ___18___ head out of a(n) ___19___ hole between the roots of the tree. "Oh, ___20___ cookies!" said the ___21___ badger. The ___22___ badger called to all the other ___23___ creatures, who all came to meet their ___24___ neighbor. They all had a(n) ___25___ time together and invited the ___26___ hedgehog to come visit them any time. They became ___27___ friends, and they especially enjoyed baking ___28___ treats together.
The End.
