It's that time of year, when as TLCers we join together in reading and reflecting on one of the Chronicles of Narnia books.
This year, the book we will be reading is The Last Battle. The challenge starts on 14 July and runs till 21 July.
The challenge is to read two chapters of the book each day and share reflections on the chapters you have read. The "reflections" can take any form, as formal or artistic as you like. A short essay or "what do we learn" type reflection, a piece of artwork (drawings, paintings, graphics, poetry, music - anything you can think of) or perhaps even a piece of "fan-fiction" elaborating on a bit of the story Lewis doesn't give us. Your reflection can be as short or long as you want - combine the two chapters, separate them or pick out common themes. The idea is to engage in Narnia and share with each other what we get from it. Your reflections can but need not be of a spiritual nature.
You can post your reflections here: https://www.thelionscall.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=282

Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
I'm in for as long as I'm actually able to read the book without putting it down ๐ I always struggle with LB.
I'm planning on being in. Hopefully I can keep myself down to 2 chapters a day! ๐
Perhaps it goes without saying, but I'm in.
I hope it's not too hard for you, Tenny. There certainly is something sharper to it, but my prayer is for it be uplifting for us this week and bring us to the true king. And then after this I suppose it will be seven years before we do the Last Battle again ๐
I shall be traveling, but... maybe I'll join in if I'm able. ๐
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.
