It's that time of year, when as TLCers we join together in reading and reflecting on one of the Chronicles of Narnia books.
This is our 7th year, and as such we will be reading the only book we haven't done yet - which happens to be the first book, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
This year's challenge will be running from Mon 24 July to 2 August 2017.
The challenge is to read two chapters of the book each day and share reflections on the chapters you have read. The "reflections" can take any form, as formal or artistic as you like. A short essay or "what do we learn" type reflection, a piece of artwork (drawings, paintings, graphics, poetry, music - anything you can think of) or perhaps even a piece of "fan-fiction" elaborating on a bit of the story Lewis doesn't give us.
Your reflection can be as short or long as you want - combine the two chapters, separate them or pick out common themes. The idea is to engage in Narnia and share with each other what we get from it. Your reflections can but need not be of a spiritual nature. If it's more convenient, you can listen to an audiobook instead of reading.
You can share your reflections each day in the dedicated sharing thread on this forum or in the event page on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1703177106652998

So who's planning to take part this year?
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
I'm in!!!
YAY!!! This sounds like fun, count me in!
No worries. Your reflections can be as unprofoundly trivial as you like :p
Great to have you all on board.

Huzzah! *raises her sword in salute* Friends, Narnians, adventurers, I am deeply honoured to be setting out on this journey with you 🙂
*bounces excitedly*
OK, so I'm going to be a mite late, but I AM joining this year!
I'll see if I can get my start in before I crash tonight...
