Hello! I finished my book project!
For context (so y'all don't freak out ;P ), I recently got a full set of the Narnia series and ended up with a spare of VotDT. This one had the movie cover on it and didn't match the rest. So I thought I would make a fun craft with it.
This was the first time doing a hardcover and working with leather, so this was fun! This wasn't for the challenge, but I thought I would post it here because it is VotDT. Enjoy! π
@renegadeoftheshire Wow! I especially dig the cover work, but your little Reep is charming, too...
And I wasn't freaking out, there are enough copies of the books in the world some can easily be art without harming folks' ability to enjoy and read them. π
HOW DARE YOU DESECRATE...oooh, shiny!

This is really wonderful. I love the ship and the waves effect you have going on. It makes me think of the kindle cover I made from an old book. I'll have to post that sometime.
I'm sorry I missed this when you posted it, Ren. I love the cover and the inside is great too.
I agree with Lily that there are enough copies of the books around, especially since in some countries they are already public domain, so cheaper popular (i.e. non Harper Collins) editions are being printed. (IΒ kinda have mixed feelings about that and they don't have Baynes' illustrations but it means we're not at risk of it going out of print).
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
Thanks guys! π
Glad you didn't get offended over the fact that I ruined a book lol. Kristi, your reaction was priceless 🤣Β
