Heya, guys!  Sorry I've been so long absent, my life has been tricky to balance lately.  Just wanted to wish everybody a happy hobbit day because I was remembering how a lot of us used to change up out avatars and signatures on hobbit day.  I miss hanging out with you all.

Sorry, I've been kinda absent lately. (Always around on Chat, but haven't checked in on th Forum for too long.)

Anyway, nice to see you Hobbit. Hop you had a great Hobbit Day. I got to see a really fun performance of The Hobbit at a tiny local theatre recently. It was a lot of fun. The costumes and props were incredibly creative (made from odd stuff, like if you raided you the kitchen, garage and attic for stuff to use, but not just rubbish, high quality and very clever). They pulled it off with a cast of only 5 people.

Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.

Ajjie, The Hobbit with a cast of five people sounds pretty impressive. 🙂

Lately I've been working on the story I am writing about the history of my island, after setting it aside for a long time. I started working on it back in... what? 2013 or something? So, that has been pretty exciting. The story has really, really changed a lot. I'm starting to wonder if I'll be able to keep the details consistent across chapters... so, we'll see how that goes! Maybe I'll have to find somebody to proofread it for me when it's done. The story now includes new details such as a cooking school and a fairy queen who has never tried chicken noodle soup before. I was toying with the idea of working on it for NaNoWriMo this year, but that feels too overwhelming. Besides, maybe I'll manage to finish it before November. 🙂

New president of U.S.A. or the re-election of an old one.

I plan to watch House of David with my father. Anybody knows if it is good or not? It seems like it could be good.

Sorry to triple post but House of David is good although it takes more creative lisence then The Chosen.

I had a Really good day. I've been having a rough, tired time of it all week long for no good reason I can clock, and I finally got some energy back. Two poems down so far (playing catchup on my challenge), contributed some to a games event on a site my sister and I play on, read in my library books, and did a complicated and yummy dinner creation. Bonus feature, an author I admire liked one of my posts on socials! And I still have time to do some more things before I turn in. 🙂

Hi Lily nice to see people comment on this forum. Tomorrow is Easter and we were asked to bring small potatos by the pastor's wife to bring for Easter lunch. He did buy them but my brother did the same so he had double. So that is a little story.

@knightofnarnia What else was for lunch besides your potatoes?

We had a nontraditional Easter lunch because it was little sister's birthday, and family tradition is birthday person gets to pick the menu. It was spinach and ricotta ravioli, garlic bread, and Caesar salad.

alright since it was the church someone had brought white beans. And the Pastor's wife was preparing lamb (not sure she bought it or someone else). There was rice and coselaw. I don't remember everything.
