Yeah, I'm with you, Ariel. I didn't get very far into season 2. It just got really dark and I didn't feel like I needed to waste my time watching it. Still watching Once Upon a Time though... 🙄
@Ariel I have to wait for it to come on Netflix so I'll be waiting for a while 🙁 So you should tell me some things before I get to them. 😛

@cor: First thing you need to know about season 2. The first episode is quite dark compared to the rest of the show (that I've seen thus far). It eases up a little, but not by a whole ton. Umm... oh. Mack is cool. Fitz is pitiable. Mack plus Fitz = feels. Simmons wow. Skye's better. May's as vague and emotionless as ever. Coulson's kinda mini-Fury now, but still Coulson. Hunter is highly irritating and funny. Mockingbird's not married to Hawkeye grr! (Sorry. They're married in comic book canon and I stick by what few canon marriages there are!) Um... last couple episodes leading up to the halfway break are kinda creepy, mainly where Mack's concerned. And... Triplett. I can say no more.
I love Fitz!!! Okay better now. Who are Mack, Hunter, and Triplett? I feel like I've heard Triplett before but I don't remember. What about Ward? Where did he go and does he come back? Why is Simmons wow? What does she do? Wait............Is Hawkeye in it? Yeah, I saw the second Avengers I know he doesn't marry Mockingbird. How many episodes are there??? What happened to Ward!?!?!?!?! May can be so annoying sometimes. I love Coulson and I cold keep going but I have to d school so I should probably stop. lollol! Anyway! TELL ME!!!!!!!!
Triplett is the black guy who kinda takes Ward's place toward the end of season 1. He and May are my favourite characters.
Mack and Hunter are new to the team.
Ward starts the season in a little cell. He gets traded for information later, but then escapes and does Hydra-agent stuff. That's all I know.
Simmons... let's say I wasn't expecting her to be the way she was in one episode. You'll find out.
No, Hawkeye's not in there, but I read some article that hopes that he'll come in later.

@cor: he's mentally damaged from the near-drowning. Not any less bright, just has a hard time communicating and adjusting to new things. (It's sad to watch, really. And the season one team kind of coddles him while also excluding him, but Mack treats him as if there's nothing wrong with him (so he gives him some tough love as well as respect).) Fitz finds out that Ward is in their new HQ, so one day when he's left alone, he goes down and starts to replicate the near-drowning so Ward can feel it for himself.
What! Noooooooooooo 🙁 Fitz! *sniffsniff*
*patpats* It's okay. He doesn't kill Ward. And the mental roadblocks get better (at least, so far as I've seen).
Rumlow is not only back for Civil War, but now he's also donning the Crossbones look with black armour and an intimidating white paint job.
Edit: If anyone is wondering about the Daredevil show (on Netflix), it's.... Well, it's not quite like the Marvel we're used to. I had a friend over last night and we watched the pilot episode. The fight scenes are reminiscent of Cap 2 (ie: it looks like it legitimately hurts), but Daredevil shows quite a bit of blood to go with it. According to PluggedIn, this show is pretty dark and has a different feel to it than the movies or even Agent Carter and Agents of SHIELD. (Also, PluggedIn informed me that Daredevil is TV-MA as opposed to the other two's TV-PG (but yikes, if a couple elements of those shows are TV-PG...).) They also compared Daredevil to Batman but without the latter' no-kill rule.
(The plus side to the show this far? The character look promising and it has a mystery element that's pretty well set up. (But said mystery element has pretty dark-looking elements.))
So basically, fair warning.
