Hello! Decided to come around cause I saw 3 Marvel Movies just recently: Captain America 1 &2 and The Avengers. The Avengers was my favourite- yes, I like Loki.... =D

So what'd you think, always? Besides Avengers being your favourite?

Ariel— Well, it's probably somewhat of a surprise what I think. I have been wanting to see a super hero movie for sometime, and especially the Avengers. I feel like they were all overrated, and I expected more. *No hard feelings* I actually DO like The Avengers, but I wasn't really impressed with Captain America 1 or 2. I liked the first better out of those two, though. I really like the IDEA of the films more than the actual films, and I like a lot of the characters more than I like the story— does that make sense? All that being said, I watched it with a bunch of my friends, and it got really late so I possibly did not get the plots as much as I should have. I really like the characters of Captain America, Hawkeye, Bucky, Loki, and Iron Man (mostly because he is funny).

Lil- Bucky and Cap! I love their friendship story!

@Anne: I think you'd like Thor. There is much more character development with Loki and also the relationship between the brothers. 🙂 Thor 2 is good for entertainment, though sufficient development for either brothers isn't present.

Siblings watched Guardians of the Galaxy. Eria, who's taste is closer to mine, said it was a waste of time and wouldn't find herself watching it again: Too many crude jokes, it tries too hard to be funny and comes off as extremely unfunny, and overall it's boring without a single interesting or unique character (they're basically the Avengers with different names and looks).

@always: Overrated. That is an excellent word for superhero movies. I get what you mean about liking the ideas more than the actual realizations of them and the characters more than the stories. I think you've summed it up way better than I could....

@Elanor: ... noted. Methinks I shall avoid GotG period then, even when the boredom hits me. Thank Eria for me. 🙂

*enjoyed Gurdians of the Galaxy* but that's probably just me. 😛 I've recently found a site that filters out stuff (for watching movies with my parents) so I've been hoping to watch a filtered version with him. (In hopes he won't be turned off.)

Yeah, GotG was wayyyyyyy overrated by everyone and I thought it was pretty lame and very stereotypical. Not any new ideas or concepts. Although Chris Pratt was pretty good in it.

@Engee: 95% of why I'm curious about GotG is simply to know if Star Lord is anything like Emmet from The Lego Movie. ;P From the tad I've seen, I think I've got a pretty safe "yes". 😆

Eh, well, he's similar, but Star Lord is more ready for anything, where Emmet likes to follow the rules.
