I finally saw Avengers 2 and the finale of AoS. All I can say is... wooooow....

I thought Avengers 2 was pretty good - I mean, the plot was kinda weak and there were a lot of holes, but the character development was /amazing/ and I'm still processing it all. (Pietro...)

AoS - I don't really know how I feel about the finale. It had absolutely no closure and basically just leads up to the Season 3 premiere. So much happened in it that I am likely to forget everything by the time the next episode comes out. (At the end of the episode I sat there thinking, "Where's Kara?" even though they did show what happened to her - I totally forgot about it because it happened so quickly and there was so much else going on simultaneously.) I just...I don't know, I feel like I had seen/heard a lot of hype about it and the episode didn't really match up.
That being said - the arc leading up to the finale was really good and I enjoyed it.

Found out last night that Hawkeye was originally going to be in Cap 2 and have a fight scene with Cap, but they took it out. Glad they did because I think he and Cap have a special relationship (at least, they sure did in Earth's Mightiest Heroes; it's because of that that I think Hawkeye is the only character who can get away with directly calling Cap an "old man".)

Ariel- Glad you agreed with my assessment of the movies. I really do like the ideas and a lot of the characters. The plot (and language) just doesn't cut it for me.

Ela- Really? I do like Loki. I wonder if I would like Thor or not. My friend said it was "one of the stupidest ones." (Meaning out of the Super Hero movies. =D I thought I would at least enjoy seeing Loki in it.

@Always: Thor 1 ranks more or less the same as Cap 1 in my book, but not for the same reasons. Cap has the more interesting story, but Thor has the better character development. Both movies as stories are kinda... "alright". Loki is definitely interesting to watch in Thor (seriously, the most emotion that movie gets out of me is a Loki scene) and he especially shines as a character when compared with Jane (who's pretty boring, lol).

And I found out today that Nick Fury will not be in Civil War, which is a surprise to both Samuel L Jackson and fans.

Whaaaat?? All of those characters and Fury's not there?

Speaking of Civil War, I saw a theory somewhere that mayyybe Scarlet Witch is there because she's going to restore Bucky's memories.

I actually prefer Thor 1 to Cap 1. I thought Thor had a decent plot - but I really didn't like Cap 1. Hugo Weaving was the best part of that movie imo.

Haha, right?

Hmm, that's a thought. Unless he comes to his own conclusions (what with his researching himself at the Smithsonian).

Shieldmaiden- Hugo Weaving was a good villain, wasn't he?

Sounds like I might like to see Thor! I was surprised Nick Fury lasted through Captain America 2.

The real reason I Want to see Captain America 3 is for Bucky. I want to know what happens!

@Anne: Basically what Ariel said. Loki gets a lot of attention, he's a central character to the plot and I'm sure you'll find his back story interesting and important in the other films you've watched. 🙂

@Always: Cap and Bucky, I think, will always remain my main reason for wanting to see Cap films. I'm curious too as to how Bucky will feature in Civil War. (Also curious as to how Civil War will play out. Obviously Cap won't be killed off like he was in the comics since we know he'll be back for Avengers 3.)

Fitz is pretty good in season two (not that he wasn't in season one... I think I just empathize for him more now). Skye's finally catching up. Mack is still cool, but I'm suspicious of him and Bobbi (based solely on teasers seen on fb). And I still like May. 😀

@cor: talk away! I love spoilers. I'm really not trusting Bobbi and Mack though.
