@Lil: Yes, Peggy Carter was in the first scene with the younger Hank Pym. She's the woman who held him back from letting loose a second punch. 😀
Yeeeeeeeeeeeah. Ariel, when AoS starts again, you have to keep me caught up. Yes? YES!
@cor: I can try. You'll likely have to bug me about it though. 🙂

Aww, man. I wish I had a clip of that.
Oh, right, you didn't go to see it. Her appearance really is more of a cameo, but it's still kinda nice to see her all part of SHIELD. And she's got streaks of grey in her hair too. 🙂
@Ariel Oh I'll bug you all right! You can count on me!! Lol
😉
So apparently there was a Captain America : Civil War clip shown at the big Disney expo and while I'm not sure about many of the clips floating around youtube (between what looks like trailers, fantrailers and mashups between the too) it looks like
Clint and Natasha might be on opposite sides. O.O Or at least face off against one another.
I saw a bootlegged trailer too. Looks promising.
I'm not so worried about Clint vs Nat as I am Clint vs Cap. Those two have a special relationship in the comics (and the tv show that taught me that (and I'm convinced Clint is the only one who can call Cap an "old man" to his face and get away with it!)) and, from what I've read on wikis, Clint has pretty much always sided with Cap. I mean, yeah, the movies haven't really given them that relationship (I'm assuming they didn't in Ultron), so they can pretty much do what they want there, but I think even movieverse Cap and Clint would get along well.
Also... semi-spoiler regarding Ant-Man post-credit scene and Civil War.
You've been warned.
So, according to a video I just watched, the original end-credit stinger was supposed to simply be a funny scene. However, whilst Kevin Fiege (producer, I believe) was watching Civil War stuffs, he apparently said to use a scene from Civil War as the Ant-Man post-credit scene. So it would seem that finding Bucky and not telling Stark about him has a role in Civil War. Perhaps that's also what Falcon means by, "This would have been easier a week ago"? Not to mention that it's probable we'll be seeing Ant-Man again.
So I happened upon some Avengers 2 clips. Ultron is even more human-like, which bothers me (seriously, he said, "No no no no no no"!). Cap's fighting is sweet, though, so no complaints there. Hawkeye's vote of confidence (not) is making me hope on a bond between him and Cap. Tony's utter loss at Hawkeye's farm and family was great ("She's another agent. ... And those are little agents...."). The team combinations are really cool (even if they do remind me of video games). And when Cap slammed Quicksilver, I really wanted to say, "What, you didn't see that coming?"
And, according to Clevver Movies, Hawkeye was originally going to be in Cap 2. Just a quick scene in which he receives a phone call about Cap being a fugitive and being ordered to take him out. Hawkeye would have chased him to a ravine outside of Washington DC, fired multiple arrows, and then, when in whispering range, tell Cap to knock him out as there was a tracer on his suit and he should make the fight look good. It's not even a deleted scene because of scheduling conflicts. Erg, that's maddening!
Even though that scene didn't end up happening and therefore is not part of MCU fact, I'm going to be even more ticked if Hawkeye fights against Cap in Civil War.
Okay, so I've been told that Hawkeye will be on Cap's side, so I'm happy about that. 😀
I also watched a video of photos and second-hand video of Civil War stuff (rather early on in filming). Something about an exploding/flipping truck by some Institute for Infectious Diseases. Cap (and I assume the new Avengers) face down Crossbones in what looks like Africa? Still no idea what Ant-Man's involvement is.
This next bit is a bit of a spoiler.
Spoiler warning, in case you missed the first one.
The film will include Peggy Carter's funeral.
I've read some speculation that Martin Freeman's character may be another comic version of Red Skull that was present during the Civil War story line. Interesting concept considering not much is known about who he'll be playing.
😯 I just can't see... Martin Freeman... as the Red Skull. No matter what version of the character. Yes, I'm very curious as to what he'll be up to.... (Also curious as to where and how Baron Zemo is going to factor in. Maybe he's Crossbones' superior?)
I can't see Martin Freeman as a villain (not that I doubt his acting capabilities - it's just - he's Martin Freeman). 😛 It seems as if that's the direction his character is going, though. I guess we'll have to find out when more info is given.
Haha, good point.
And they're probably not gonna tell us till the movie comes out. *sigh* I'm so looking forward to this movie that they'd better not botch it!
