ANYBODY excited for the next Guardians of the Galaxies!!!!????
I liked it quite a bit. Very interesting and different from the other Marvel films in terms of cinematography and creative choices in fight scenes. It does deal with some mysticism, if that's bothersome to you, but I didn't find it at all jarring. It's funny because one of my profs loved the film and mentioned it several times during lecture.
@Ela: My Grandma took me to see it in the theater. My mom didn't like that, but oh well. 😛 It is now my favorite marvel movie of all time!
@Pev: I thought Cumberbatch made a great Dr Strange. His accent was spot on and I liked how he played the character. One of my favourite parts was the time loop 😀 Did you stay around for the post credit scene?

The story of Doc Strange interests me, but it's the mysticism that's got me leery. (Says someone who watches Ghost Rider on AoS and certain episodes of Merlin and season two especially of this anime....) I dunno. I may see it eventually, especially as a YouTuber made a case for "there's not actual magic in Doc Strange". 😉
No interest in Guardians of the Galaxy though. Even if baby Groot is too cute. 🙂
@Ariel: Lol. Doctor Strange is THE BEST. Nonetheless, yes the mysticism is very very strong. At least, the presence and use of Magic is.
Now that I think about it, there is no religion proposed anywhere in the movie. As the character, Nothing to believe in but yourself.
