It's so nice that we agree on some many things!
Yeah, the theater thing really, really freaked me out. I couldn't stop watching though, because I wanted to know how it all ended. I'm terrible with mysteries. And Peggy. I love Peggy, but yes, I think they've made her too modern and too violent. Leave that stuff to Black Widow.
The table scene with Peggy and Jarvis was hilarious. The first thing I thought was, "Even if they break the glass, they're still handcuffed to the table!" And then when they figured that out after smashing the glass. 😆
When they were hunting down Dottie, I was afraid Sousa was going to get hurt. I've come to like Sousa a lot! Much more than I ever thought I would.
I don't know if Leviathan was the doctor, or if it was the code name for the entire operation, or what. They didn't really explain that well enough.
And Jarvis is just perfection. 😀

The theater... I honestly just expected people to topple over. Or start to react and try to leave. Not... that. That's gotta be one insane gas in order to create that sort of effect, especially when you consider that Finneau was in the open air....
There are some things I like about Peggy, but I prefer her in Cap 1. Pwning Hodge. At least that was done with class, not raw, brute force.
Yeah, I was kinda wondering that too during that scene. "So," said I, "how do they propose to get free of the table? Ah, well, at least Thompson heard them."
Frankly, I think it's, ahem, convenient that Dottie didn't kill Sousa. She totally could have and she has no morals whatsoever, so it's not like she'd refrain because he's handicapped.
Yeah... I also wonder if maybe the doc and Dottie were part of something bigger (... and how scary is that, considering the damage done?). But then, I'm not quite sure I see the connection between them and the earlier events of the show, like the imploding bombs.
Heh, he's a good character. I like how he's so very proper and often just a blank mask... and yet reveals so much.
Speaking of Jarvis... "HELP!" "You know nobody will come." "Miss Carter, you are despised in this office, but I am a civilian. HELP!" 😛 Oh, and his explanation about panicking. "There was a lot of panicking involved." 😆

Okay, so this is conjecture so far as I know, but here are a couple more thoughts for Avengers 2. I saw a poster of Vision with the Avengers and it looks more like a team-up than a vs-type of poster. Plus, I've now seen another video that has suggested that Vision is Jarvis with a bit body.
Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, by the look of things, /appear/ to switch sides. An official video tells us that she has a hand in seriously messing with the team by getting into their minds and making their worst fears a reality (to a point). She's shown working her stuff on Widow, Fury thinks Stark might have been influenced, and it's possible that the Hulk goes ballistic because of her.
Ultron, according to some official bio info somewhere, started out as Chitauri tech that Stark then experimented on and "perfected".
It sounds like Thor may be captured and held prisoner at some point. Which could explain his absence from Civil War.
Looks like we'll get some Black Widow backstory.
Quicksilver has a Russian accent (understandable with a name like Pietro Maximoff). He and Scarlet are said to be very close to each other and of opposite personalities.
At the end of the third trailer, we see six people fighting in a circle: Cap, Thor, Hawkeye, Iron Man, Widow, and Scarlet. Which then asks the question of where Quicksilver and Hulk are.

As for Ant-Man, the villain is Yellowjacket. This confuses me as the only Yellowjacket I know of is Hank Pym (aka the original Ant Man) just under another name and with a different mission/ view on life.

And Daredevil is coming to Netflix. Aside from knowing that Matt Murdock is blind (due to chemical accident when he's young) and a lawyer, I know little else about him.

Sorry. 🙂 Though, again, I don't know how much of what I said is true. Guess we'll find out soon enough.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that Evangeline Lilly (aka Tauriel) is playing Hank Pym's daughter in Ant-Man.

Oh, I meant that my siblings have told me everything possible for it. 😛 I know who SPOILER dies SPOILER, how Ultron is defeated, and basically everything else.

*sneaks into thread* Sooo...I watched my very first Marvel movie a few weeks ago. ^.^ It was Thor. 🙂 Next, I want to watch The Dark World...but then I don't know what to watch after that. 😛 Any suggestions? Preferably not anything terribly scary or full of blood. 😛

Ooh cool! I'm not much into supers (says the girl who's favourite Disney movie is about superheroes *ahem* anyway...), but I like the Captain America movies. The second is more intense, action heavy and gritty than the first. Avengers is also one that I watch whenever my siblings decide to play it, I think you should probably see that one before Dark World, only because it has mention of events that happened in Avengers. I'm not sure what you'd consider scary, but as far as I know the Marvel films aren't gratuitous with blood. I'd say that you should probably look into the MCU films to see if you'd be alright with it. PluggedIn (not affiliated with TLC) is a good site to help with that. 🙂

@Elanor: ooooooooh... share in a pm please?

@Berry: uh, pretty much what Elanor said on all counts.
Thor 2 isn't as good as 1. Just saying. (Jane's even more useless, but Loki's pretty fun, especially in two scenes.)
Cap 1 is pretty decent. The main flinching moments are when a dude falls into a propeller and when the Red Skull reveals his face.
Cap 2 is the best Marvel movie to date, but has extremely intense action (things look like they legitimately hurt) and has one not-so-subtle (though not explicit) reference to, ahem, adult content.
Avengers, yeah, watch that before venturing Cap 2, Thor 2, Iron Man 3, and (obviously) Avengers 2.
I've never watched any of the Iron Man movies. I know people who like them and people who could care less. I guess it depends on how much of Tony Stark's ego you can handle. 😉
Do not watch any of the Hulk movies. They're all horrible. Not seen 'em, but I've heard enough.
I know people who like Spiderman (old and new; but the old #3 is weird), but I've not seen them.
X-Men movies are blah. The scripts are enough to move you to tears, they're so bad (okay, maybe not quite tears... more like enough to make your eyes glaze over...).
Haven't seen Guardians of the Galaxy, so I wouldn't know.

@Ela: I consider BoFA a little scary...but in a good way 🙂

*checks PluggedIn* Goodness, is there not a single Marvel movie without any swearing? : P My friend who I watched Thor with can attest to the fact that I will tell a character in a movie "Watch your mouth!" when they swear. 😛

@Ariel: is it possible for Jane to be more useless? 😛

*reads the PluggedIn reviews of the Iron Man movies* Yeah, never watching those. : P

*will prolly wait a little to see both Cap movies*

*Wasn't planning on watching any Hulk movies or X-Men movies*

I heard that Guardians of the Galaxy is good, but has more swearing than any of them. :

Heaps of thanks for both of you. 🙂

@Berry: Ah, okay.
Yeah, I'm sure they all have swearing. Oh! *remembers something and decides to PM you*
You're very welcome! I try to help whenever I can. 🙂

Yeah, unfortunately swearing is rampant in most movies.
Good lass for avoiding Hulk and X-Men.
Haha, believe it or not, yeah, Jane is capable of being more useless.... *wonders if she'll keep up that track record in Thor 3 if she's in there at all*

Ah, Jane. Eria and I always joke about how utterly useless she is and how she brings about trouble everywhere she goes. I blame her for everything bad that happens in Thor 2. 🙄 **Possible spoiler** It's said in Avengers 2 that she has become the best in her area of science and is going to be awarded something. Since when did she ever do anything of worth? 😛

Where are you / your siblings getting this jackpot of spoilers from?!
I mean, I guess she has a handle on astro-physics and something about dimensions. So as a scientist, I wouldn't doubt her skills. Just... as a character, she's just so unutterably dull.
