I have no idea. I'm just given them randomly. I just happen to remember them. 😛
I guess that's true, but I don't really understand exactly what she does. She's definitely a very flat character.
Haha, I guess I can empathize with that.
Eh... they tried to explain the whole alignment of the worlds thing in Thor 2 and I was kinda like, "I see why you have to explain this concept and thanks but... I think I got the gist, okay?" It's a hard line to walk, explaining science in fiction enough to sound at least plausible without boring us. So I imagine that's why we don't know a ton about what Jane and Selvig do.
Sif has way more awesome factor than Jane, and Darcy is more interesting than Jane. 😛
Haha, that's a great way of putting it! Sif's just cool, that's all there is to it. I prefer Darcy in the first Thor more than the second, but anyway.
@Ariel: That would make sense.
@Berry: I prefer both of them over her, at least they have character!
"And also, how can you eat an entire box of Pop Tarts and still be this hungry?" 😆
^^^This describes my life.
@Ariel: My friend told me "[Darcy] falls in love in the second movie and is really funny about it." True?
Erm, yeah, one can say that... though it doesn't really happen till the end.... And it's not really taken seriously (but then it's Darcy, how serious can you get?).
Oh also, Thor 2.... I'm sure you read about certain footage of Selvig in the PluggedIn review? Forgot about that.
(pops in)
Sif was super cool in the movies, but they butchered her character in AoS.
(pops out)
Oh yeah. She was in Agents. Yeah, she was all jealous and stuff. She handled her jealousy better in Thor 2....
Yes, Ariel, I did read that...but it doesn't sound too much worse than a certain scene in Brave. 😛
Point. I'd forgotten about that one too. But there's something different about cartoon vs live-action too.
*nods*
Teneb and I went to watch Avengers II last night. It's actually been out in SA for week already but we were distracted. I enjoyed it more than the first one (I think; it was a long time ago that I watched that). I won't give away any major spoilers yet except to say that if you weren't aware, the big Hulk and Iron Man scene takes place in Johannesburg (not my city but it's so odd actually seeing a South African city on the big screen). And there's a certain actor we know from another series of movies who puts pn an S African accent. I was in hysterics over that.
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
I am going to see it today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Klaw is South African?! Cool. 🙂
