SPOILERS BE HERE. DON'T SAY I DIDN'T WARN YOU!
yes, i'm talking about the whole thing where the writers went "oh, look, we had all these great characters...let's slAUGHTER THEM ALLLLLLL!!!!!!!!"
it was a little scarring. 😆 😉
As I said I don't see how they could have done otherwise
SPOILERS
The mission was a sucide mission from the "begining" The only question in the head of everyone signing up was not, "Am I going to survive?" But, "Are we going to succeed?" And everyone watching the movie at that point had to know that they were going to die. That being said they did make it a little emotional.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At least, though, when they did die, most of them had heroic, accomplishing-the-mission tasks (looking at you, Baze Malbus, as the exception...).
SPOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSS
@knight:
And everyone watching the movie at that point had to know that they were going to die.
...............i had /no/ idea all the characters were going to die.
SPOILERS
Agree with you Jaygee that most of them did die heroically................i had /no/ idea all the characters were going to die.
fetherfish Hummm shield that might let them in but defenitely not out. Outnumbered thousands to one. And you thought they might get out alive :o. Especially that they didn't expect it themselves. Rewatch (If it isn't too scaring) the scene where they sign up and see if anyone is expecting to come back. They seem to meticulously avoid the subject (Tipical of sucide missions.) I'm don't remember what music they were playing but a sad one would have fit the mood. (Except Jyn Erso is so happy to have volunteers who are willing to die along side of her for this mission) Lisen to Cassian Andor's speach when he signs on and tell me you don't feel that him and those with him don't expect to come back. This isn't retrospect this is foreshadow. Of course I often miss foreshadow but this time I got it.

On another note, rest in peace, your Worship. You will be sorely missed. 🙁
yeah, i heard about that earlier today. isn't it sad? 🙁
Back to Rogue One, 10:00 on a Monday is apparently a good time to see a movie. I went with Aygee, Aygee's parents, and ALB, and the 5 of us were literally the only ones in the theater. 😕 😯
we went at 10 am on a friday and the theater was packed! 😯
Really? Hmm. Could just be the different areas we live in?
perhaps. it was mostly people around college age and grownups with little kids.
We went to see Rogue One the Monday after it came out, for a 10 pm showing because my brother works for UPS. Other than like, four people, my family and I were the only ones there. We even got locked in the theatre 'cause we stayed for the end credits. 😆
I was really confused at the beginning because I didn't know any of the characters. I usually find spoilers before watching a movie. 😛 ... and wow. Just wow. *cries* My reaction after we left was basically the same as Feather's 😯 But overall ... I did really like it. 🙂 Maybe more than TFA.
I AM GOING TO SEE ROGUE ONE WITH MY BEST FRIEND ON MY B-DAY!!!!! XDXDXD
Was off internet for some time just saw that Carrie Fisher (Leia Organa) died; 2016 what a bad year for stars. Star Wars fans will miss her.

So, I saw Rogue One last night. It was a very interesting experience for me considering I haven't seen ANY Star Wars movies before. But I really enjoyed it. I was a little bit confused, I think mainly because I'm just not very familiar with the SW universe, but it was exciting!! I mean, I got the overall plot, but it was a little confusing. My favorite characters were Bodhi, K2, Cassian, and Jyn. Also, before I saw it I accidentally saw on Pinterest that Cassian and Jyn died. So yeahhhh .... but then when he came back at that one point I was like "hmmm, maybe that wasn't true?" and then a few a minutes later it was like, "nope, they're dead." Anyway it was really good and at least they all died very heroically.
