Totally agree with Rey being Luke's daughter and Obi's granddaughter. Why are we fighting over that when she could easily be both, which would still be a surprise and completely epic!
LOL about the last point!
Star Wars could pull it off another way but I seriously think it should go like this.
Kylo Ren, "Your father is Luke."
Rey, "No that would make you my..."
-"I'm your cousin"
-"Noooo!"
It would be too cool. But maybe it would look too much like Empire Strikes Back.
He does all things well.
That would be funny... 😉
Jaygee someone always shouts Nooo! in Star Wars and besides sounding like Empire Strikes Back I find the humor missing. Maybe because their isn't the First Order music in the background when you read the text.

Anyone besides me following the news on Han Solo spin off film?
Two writers/directors being replaced
He does all things well.
Yeah...wonder what impact that'll have on the movie?
Jaygee they found a replacement pretty quick. As for story wise we will see. Although we probably will never know what those two writers/directors wanted to write (since rumor says they argued about certain parts of the film with Lucas Arts and Disney)
He does all things well.
Yeah, I knew that they had a new one already. Opie Taylor, isn't it? 😉 😛
your better informed then me I just knew it was Ron Howard. But yes Ron Howard does play the role of Opie Taylor.

Well I just saw Rogue One, a couple night ago. Still pretty sad about it, but I knew what would happen going in. I ended up liking the whole crew, though I think in general I like The Force Awakens better. Guess I can discuses it now that I've seen it.
The advantage of The Force Awakens is that their characters are going to re-appear in the next movie (The Last Jedi) while we probably won't see Rogue One characters too much.
(We do see Jyn in Forces of Destiny)
Did anyone else saw the D23 behind the scenes footage of Star Wars? Too great I want to see the film.

I know I was the latest to comment. But anyone else saw the D23 behind the scenes footage of Star Wars? Too great I want to see the film.
I did. So sad seeing Carrie. Totally waiting to see the film.
Yes Carrie's death is a sad event. It's almost two years since the Force Awakens the wait better be worth it.

I know that I was the last one to post in this thread but I just watched the second teaser trailer and it is dark. But movie makers like doing that with trailers.
He does all things well.
Yeah, I saw it, too. Have a feeling that a lot of it, such as the Rey and Kylo conversation at the end, is misdirection.
