@Tooky: *snork* I actually wouldn't mind seeing Aragorn hanging out with Eladan and Elrohir. The most we actually /see/ of them is in Born of Hope, and that's a fanfilm. That said, going that direction would require going down the right fanfiction rabbit holes in order to satisfy me. 😛
I just hope they're not going to make it some cheesy, modern show like the BBC Robin Hood. I hope they keep true to the heart of Middle-Earth whatever the case.
XDXDXD
I guess I'll just wait and see what happens. I mean..... what history does Amazon have in shows? I haven't heard anything. Is it all unpredictable?

That would be The Broship of the Ring (It's a thing.)
WAT
WOAH
The Rohirrim are a biker group.
HEHEHEHEHEHHEHE I LOVE THAT
@ann: oh goodness. I enjoy the first two season of Robin Hood for what it is, but I wouldn't be able to stand Middle-earth getting the same treatment.
@pev: I feel like I should know about at least one Amazon show, but if I do, it's escaping me.
@Kristi: Say what?! *looks at pics* Okay, that first one highly amusing. ( 😆 Legolas!!! 😆 )
@Kristi: ..........I cannot believe I never...I mean how have I never seen those before??! 😆 😆 😆 😆 😆
The Bikers of Brohan? 😛
As far as BBC Robin Hood goes I have no worries there. I loved the campiness of the first two seasons, but part of BBC Robin Hood being...BBC Robin Hood was that it was a low budget fun romp and it knew that. Even the "serious" parts are dripping with melodrama which is it's own brand of fun. In a campy way.
And then some spoilers happened and they took the melodrama too far and it was terrible.
More money=more writers so I'm not terribly worried for LOTR in that regard.
As far as Amazon's track record...I've never actually watched any of their original stuff. It's got a lot of awards and there's some stuff I have tabbed on it to watch eventually...it's just that I normally end up getting distracted by Downton Abbey reruns.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
And it's time for my annual "I'm Thankful for TLC post".
I joined TLC...9 years ago on Thanksgiving. Even though I'm not as active as I once once, TLC still remains an important piece in shaping who I am. Thanks y'all.
It's also been almost 20 years since Kristi started this place. Stay tuned for more on that.
Happy Thanksgiving! 🙂
AHHHh so I can be on a bit more now, due to a fixed computer! 😀 😀
So how has all been going? I know many of you are really up for Christmas soon, but is anyone else going to participate in Chanukkah with me?
