Hey Always! It's great to see you! 😀 I've been busy with my studies, but I'm trying to be around sometimes now! 🙂 (at any rate, I'm keeping my eye on all of three threads, but... it's more than not being around at all!)
They might not need me but; they might.
I'll let my Head be just in sight;
A smile as small as mine might be
Precisely their necessity.

Ooh, I like the history in that time frame!
Gyps and I had this morning. I fried potatoes and onions, she made an omelet, we had toast with Mayhaw Jelly (much thanks to Niafamily) Aaand we had caramel hot chocolate. It took us an hour and now it's noon and we've not done school. :p
Sounds like a great way to start the morning! 🙂
@Tenny: Sounds yuuuuuuuummy!
Aaaah it looks like a busy month for me. How do you keep track of craziness?
I have a corkboard in my room and have begun pinning post it notes with my tasks on it. I have two colors.so I can keep track of them easier. One is for TLC.stuff and one is for school.
In addition i keep a calendar with my work schedule on it, as well as all the TLC events and archery stuff for my sis.
I...don't really get craziness, but when we do, we just write events on the calendar. 😀
I just remember... not always ideal, but I don't normally write things down unless it is something I know I'll forget.
Google Calendar holds my whole life. I don't know what I'd do without it. I wouldn't know where and when to show up to class if I didn't have it all on one page. I even have notifications set up on my phone.
Tenny, I recommend trying it. You can have several calendars and overlay them for different schedules, such as yours and Gypsies.
I've taken to writing up a little daily to-do list so I remember to do certain things before certain deadlines (or before I go two months before remembering that the writing contest needs updating 😛 ).
I usually just write a massive to-do list when I get super stressed 🙂
Also, yay! new chat thread!
So far as school went (back when I was in school...), I grew up with a "goal chart" that listed what I had to accomplish in each subject per day. It was part of the curriculum, so I spent 11 years doing that. And then I tried writing to-do lists in college and after two weeks, said, "Forget it! I'm making my own goal charts!" So my virtual calendar only had big-project due dates and test dates and reminders set for those while I used the goal chart on an everyday basis. 🙂 (My life and work situations aren't categorized in such a way that renders me lost without the goal chart system, otherwise, I'd totally be using it still.)
@Ela and Jaygee -- well not all of us are perfect like you 😉 if I don't have something like this I feel like I'm spinning my wheels tryin to get stuff done 😛
Tooky Google Calendar is preeeeeetty fabulous. It's what I use for the TLC calendars.
@Shi -- Lists are SO useful. They kinda help you be able to check stuff off and feel productive right? 😛 that's why I like them.
@Ariel -- YESSS. Goal charts are the BEST. They are like the List of Lists.
*suddenly wonders if Tenny uses/used the same curriculum she used*
Proooobably not 😛
