I've been to...*counts* 9. And 4 of them were because my dad was officiating. 😀
@Ela: WOW. 😯
@Jaygers: *nods* Thats a lot. 🙂 I've been to.... Hmm.. *counts* 5? Yeah. I can remeber 4 of them, maybe I've been to more though. :P. Aaand, probably another 3-4 this year. 😯 Thats a lot in one year. 😛
Oh, well, I don't remember 3 of them, though. 😉
@Dazzle: that /is/ a lot in one year!
I was flower girl for... I'm not sure how many, but I /think/ maybe five weddings, one or two of them being for aunts. Then there was my dad's nephew's wedding.... Don't remember any others until my mom's youngest brother's and then the brother above him last year (though he and his wife were officially married a year before the church wedding). Oh yeah, and then one of my dad's nieces. But this one this weekend will be the first wedding of a friend's I'm attending. 🙂
I don't know how many weddings I've been to over the years ... they are all usually very spread out. I only know of one that I'm going to this year and it's a good friend of ours. 🙂
I was flower girl in 1.
I've been to so many weddings, though I've never been more than a musician. But I think that has a lot to do with how many I've been to, and also that Dad's been a pastor for all my life...
Yeah, I have no clue how many weddings I've been to. A couple dozen maybe?
Forgot about my pastor's son's wedding.... Oops.
Hey, Guys!
So...Guess what?
When my Grandpa was buried, he had the military show up for him because he was a veteran! They did a six-gun salute, and they played Taps and folded the flag from his casket and gave it to my aunt ^.^
That's cool, Ten!
That's really awesome Tenny. I'm so grateful for those who have served in the military. : ) It was similar at my grandpa's funeral, he had a gun salute too. And a flag, I think.
What's the difference between Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Remembrance Day?? I am kinda confused by them.
In Canada (as far as I know) we only have Remembrance Day.
That is neat, Tenny!
Sorry, Shield, if I know the differences, it's escaping me at the moment.
And I'm back! Trip was good, wedding was lovely, and I'm probably gonna be on vacation mode for the rest of the week....
