*takes notes on The Book Thief* I have it on my shelf, just haven't got around to reading it yet. I did see the film once though.
@Ela - Yeah ... it kinda felt like, I've been watching this the whole time, very much enjoying the story, but by the time I got to the end, it was like ... did I miss something?
I just watched Jurassic World. Awesome plot, but some pretty bad words and refrences. Very good plot.
I thought the plot was the worst part of Jurassic World.
The best part was the Chris Pratt.
The rest was very meh and a lot more violent than I expected or wanted.
The best part was Owen, lol. Kina like another Indiana Jones.
I rewatched the pilot for BBC's Robin Hood. I think I'll be rewatching the whole show (or at least seasons 1 and 2).
We restarted Pride and Prejudice tonight. 😀
Watched The Giver.
@Jaygee: Which Pride & Prejudice?
The Colin Firth and Jenifer Elhe (?) one.
Ah, so the good one. 😛
Yes. 😉 😛
Watched Les Mis. I'm gonna have the songs stuck in my head now.
Which version, Ela?
@Ariel: The newest one, made in 2012 with Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway.
Watched a WWII film based on the true story of a POW taken taken under the Japanese military control along with his comrades. I really, truly liked it and need to give it another watch. Now I need to read the account it is based on. Won't give away the title as the film is rated R.
I just watched the same film Ela mentioned above and very much liked it (rating warning still applies). I've seen another film about the same place and time, but with completely different men and plot (same take-away in the end, though). In conjunction, both films really open up the Thailand-Burma railway built during WWII and both films leave you with stuff to think about.
