I watched Alladin and Little Mermaid for the first time while I've been sick.
Saw God's Not Dead 2 in theaters recently. It was really good!
What did you think of them, Tenny? 🙂
I just saw The Little Mermaid for the first time, too, recently.
Just saw Disney's new "The Jungle Book." Oh my goodness, I loved it! I thought it was fantastic. I thought the animation was great (I mean, you could tell the animals weren't real, but they were really well done) and I loved how they weaved in musical themes from the animated classic. Anyone else watched it yet? (I know Ella did.)
I'm waiting till it's on dvd. I'm curious, but am in no rush. 🙂
I forgot to mention that, yes, the musical themes were woven in very well. 😀
@Ariel: let me know what you think!! 🙂
@Ella: Yezz! I think so! 🙂
Anyone else excited about Pete's Dragon? I grew up with that movie, so I'm excited to see what they do with it!
@Shi: I'll probably say something when I see it. 🙂
I've never seen Pete's Dragon. I don't even know what it's about, haha.
Just saw the new Peanuts movie. It was pretty good.
@Ariel: I don't know that Pete's Dragon is super popular, but it was a movie I watched growing up. Here's the Wikipedia page for it ... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete%27s_Dragon
Also here's the link for the new one!! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pete%27s_Dragon_(2016_film)
Karl Urban (Eomer) is gonna be in it!!

The live action Disney remake that I'm really looking forward to is Beauty and the Beast. I loved the movie and the casting looks top notch.
I'm not super hyped for Jungle Book, but I'll probably get around to seeing it eventually a couple of years post DVD.
Lately I've been watching Fullmetal Alchemist. Like insane amounts of Fullmetal Alchemist. Like it's taken over all of my free time. I'd never gotten into anime beyond Avatar: The Last Airbender (Which jury is still out if that even counts) but I figured I'd try FMA because the Goofyclan is quite obsessed with it. I wouldn't recommend it for the younger audience as it has moments where it's quite violent(Much more than Avatar) and for some reason the dubbed version has some mild language but the subbed not so much. But really good animation and story.
We started the BBC SC last night.
