Oh wow.
That is a very helpful sum-up, @marmota. Thanks.
Started the Series of Unfortunate Events, 'cause I read the books in grade school. 🙂
I so want to read those! How are they, for movies?
I just don't want to see something cheesy like superman again.
Do you mean the 70's Superman movie or Man of Steel? 😛
@Pev: so far, so good. There are only eight episodes and I'm nearly finished with the sixth. They have more of a humorous overtone than I remember the books having but it adds a bit of levity to the otherwise dark cirumstances. I highly recommend the books though. 🙂
*edit*
Finished all 8 eps.
@Hobbit: I think it was Man of Steel. way way too overpowered.
@Ela: oh nice. I hope I can get my mum to let me then. 🙂
@Pev: They are very strange but done well. If you haven't read the books, they would probably feel weirder than to those who have. I only wish all the books were adapted instead of just four.
*is watching Psycho*
@Ela: Oh okay. I will probably watch and read them someday anyways. 🙂
I SO WANT TO SEE PSYCHO I have heard about it, but I haven't seen it yet!
@Pev: I've watched it twice now. Very good, brilliantly written and directed. Though definitely for a more mature viewer.
@Ela: I heard there are a couple episodes worth skipping..... know where I can find them?
@Pev (at the top of the page) : Really? I thought it was really good. 😕
@Pev: episodes? I was talking about the 1960 Hitchcock film. 🙂
so i tried watching Series of Unfortunate Events. i got about 7 minutes into it until i was bored and watched Road to El Dorado instead. xP
Feather: I watched that last night! It was good... And Funny. How was it boring?
@Sil: i just didn't like it. it was terribly edited and had bad acting. and having a narrator made me feel like i couldn't connect with the characters.
