Lion... oh, is that one of the Oscar nominees? What is it about? I literally only know the title.

It's about an a boy who gets lost, adopted, and then finds his family again on google maps. Here's the official google maps video I watched when I first heard about it.

Ahhh didn't end up watching Ghandi. It wasn't interesting enough looking.

However, I did see Iron Man 3 recently (which I thought I saw, but was wrong), and then Civil War again, because I missed a lot apparently because I didn't watch the movies I should have first.

Dark Knight Trilogy is OKAY...... but I really really don't like the Batman villains. They aren't egregious enough.

That's Awesome! Cate Blanchette can play an awesome heroine as well as villain. (Example Cinderella) I'm excited!

I've seen parts of Iron Man 3. The last third? Half? was on the TV one time. I really didn't enjoy it, but I really liked the end scene what Tony says about the suits being not a hobby, but his cocoon. It felt like a real character development moment for him.

I haven't been watching much lately except for HGTV Fixer Upper and Propery Brothers and oldies like Hogan's Heroes. 😛

Our family just watched "Captains Courageous" last night (well...it was last night for us; earlier today for everybody in the States). It was really good (and very well-done for when it was made), other than my favorite character dying.

@Pev: I would think the Joker would fit that word, but I haven't seen it yet, so... I'm certainly not qualified to say.

@Ariel: I found the Joker just pure plain evil. I hated him. No character, just evil. IMO definitely not egregious.

LOVING Sherlock. Best TV show ever created. XD

Pirates of the Caribbean rewatchings. I like those movies so much!

Yes, @Lil: It was a major character building moment, the whole movie was. Iron Man 3 is now my favorite Iron Man.

Ohh, I see what you mean.

Heehee, close, anyway (regarding Sherlock).

I haven't been currently watching these series, but I wonder if anyone else likes old tv, like Gilligan's Island and Get Smart?

I like (most!) old TV shows. We have all the episodes of the black and white Sherlock Holmes show on DVD, and we watch "Andy Griffith" and (occasionally) "Get Smart" on YouTube. Those three are, unless I'm mistaken, the TV shows I've seen the most of.

I remember watching the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes. As much as I love the modern Sherlock, Jeremy Brett /is/ Sherlock Holmes.

Lately I've been watching The Great British Bake Show on Netflix. It is beautiful and quite possibly the most British thing I have ever seen.

@Tooky: Ooh, I've never even heard of that one! Is it good? I've only seen the one with Ronald Howard and Howard Marion-Crawford. So to me, they're Holmes and Watson. (It helps that they look remarkably like the illustrations, especially those from the first few stories. 😛 )
The Great British Bake Show, though...is that the one that Studio C spoofed? If it is, I think I saw an episode of it once.

It's not a movie, it's a series that the BBC did of direct adaptations of the original short stories and though it's been awhile since I've seen them they were very good. They don't play the mind games the Sherlock plays, they offer an engaging straightforward mystery that you get to follow the clues for and try to solve the case with Sherlock.

And yeah, it is the one that Sudio C did a video on. And it was a pretty spot on parody.
