Oh good. It looks like I can see the forum ok if I'm on mobile at least! I'm still struggling so much on desktop...
I've also seen a couple of promising mentions of Prodigy although less than the PJO buzz. There are So Many things I want to watch eventually but honestly I'm kind of easily overwhelmed by the size of the list versus the amount of time and energy I have these days...
I actually watched a little of a couple things recently!
My last two episodes of anything were from a makeover show, and an anime of the young boy levels of while having adventures flavor.
Still not watching much but it was kinda neat to have some kind of visual media that wasn't cute little animal videos after a long time without!
Okay great I've finished Percy Jackson and the Olympians and I personally like it a lot. Kind of guessed somethings. But having never read the books I wasn't spoiled. 😆 But the dream part near the end was weird. (if I talked about it I would need spoiler warnings.)

I finished last night. I like it too. I prefer the books but it was nice to see a portrayal of them that was enjoyable and faithful enough that it didn't give me the same annoyance that the film did. Some of the choices even made a lot of sense for the adapted environment. One criticism is that it felt a bit slow in places, like maybe they could have fitted in more detail if they didn't drag certain scenes. I really need to reread the book(s) sometime.
I wonder who they will recast as Zeus. I didn't know the actor had died until last night.

Mao's Last Dancer
This film is based on the memoir of Li Cun-Xin, who as a child was chosen to be transported from a peasant life of hard-scrabble subsistence to study dance far from his beloved family at a draconian ballet academy in Beijing. He gained notoriety when he attempted to defect from People's Republic of China while on a summer study opportunity with the Houston Ballet. I was fascinated by the flashback scenes depicting Li's childhood, but it was the dance scenes that were electrically mesmerizing.
Great the actor died playing Zeus died. Didn't know that till five minutes ago. (I don't always follow actors.) Hope they will make a season 2

Sorry they tell me the time to edit this post has expired. What I wanted to say was "oh no the actor playing Zeus died... I hope they will make a season 2 even though he died.

Thanks for letting us know; I'm sure we can change that in settings. I like the idea of setting a limit on edits but it could be a few days or a week, not so short.

I saw there was an "In memory of" at the end but hadn't checked who it was and didn't know him by name. I don't think it's officially green lit, but they definitely plan on S2 and it seems like it has been very successful so hopefully Disney renew. It's sad they will have to recast Zeus, but I'm sure they'll find someone good. I feel like it would have been be harder to recast some of the other gods.

That sounds really interesting and like a beautiful watch. Doesn't seem to be available on stream or download here atm, but I'd love to see it if I get a chance.Mao's Last Dancer

Apparently Percy Jackson has really goof viewing figures (in some ratings only second to Ahsoka from last year so definitely a good chance of another season!

if you are right Anjos about Percy Jackson and the Olympians then great news. 😀

Double posting to say I finally watched Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom and I rather like it.

Triple post to say I watched the first episode of The Chosen season 4 and it is great!!!

I'm watching the new season of The Chosen too. Looking forward to seeing the new episode tonight. I was a bit frustrated at first by the app player because it was lagging and not buffering. But then I realised that the live-streams stay up on You Tube afterwards and there's no problem playing YouTube here. I can't watch the live streams lke because they're at 1:00 am here.
I also recently finished (re)watching all seasons of the detective series Monk. (PG for violence). I had seen some of the seasons on TV previously but had missed some parts, and definitely never saw the last 5 episodes.

Anjos, I too sometimes watch on Youtube but because our TV has Youtube... But I can't do the live stream for the same reason. Can't wait till I watch the last one.

Did you see they're keeping the last one till Sunday? Excited too!
Yeah, watching on YouTube is easier on my TV too. But my "smart TV" is kinda dumb and can't install any decent new apps so I have to connect my laptop via HDMI cable to watch Disney+ and recently Netflix too. So my laptop was already there when I tried watching the first couple on the app. Then I thought of looking up YouTube.
