@Pev: Mythbusters are so cool! Pity this is their last season.... πŸ™

@Ela: Yes, yes I did. I was surprised (and very much okay) with the greater emphasis being between Holmes and the kid than on the mystery.

Recently watched the original Tron, and it was pretty good, though I enjoy the (new) sequel more. πŸ™‚

@Shi: The original Tron, I think, has more computer-geek appeal; Legacy has a feast of visual effects, even though the story's lacking. Now Tron: Uprising, the cartoon show that Disney stopped after one season (grr!) is where its at so far as actual characters and storyline (even if it perhaps over-humanizes the programs), personal opinion.

@Ariel: Yes the story is lacking a bit, but I still really enjoy Legacy. Really? I've never seen the show. They were planning on making a 3rd movie, but it got cancelled. I don't think it's totally out, but for now it's cancelled.

I pretty much only like it for the visuals and music. πŸ˜€ The show was on for one season on Disney XD (I can give you linkage, if you'd like) and a bunch of us are mucho upset that they cancelled. The guys who came up with OUAT (Horowitz and Castro) did Tron: Uprising, Elijah Wood voices the main character, Mandi Moore the main girl, and Bruce Boxlietner as Tron (that guy is the tying factor between all three media).

Who's the show about? Does it have anything to do with Flynn, or is it new characters (besides Tron)?

It's basically pre-Legacy filler with all-new characters besides Tron, Clu, Bartik (the guy in Legacy with the scarred face at End of Line who was trying to get an audience with Zuse), and Quorra (who only makes a cameo in one ep). It's a good chunk of time after Tron's "death", but no one knows that Flynn is still on the Grid (he only cameos in flashbacks). The main character, Beck, is just your average program until he Clu's forces invade his city; then he becomes an impromptu vigilante, which is the kickstart to his becoming "the next Tron".

I just finished a film called Sophie Scholl: The Final Days. It's based on a true story of a Christian woman who was a part of an anti-Nazi political group called the White Rose. It is very indie-film like, but I'm glad I gave it a watch because I didn't even know who this woman was prior. I'd recommend it to any who have an interest in WWII history and can handle heavy subject matter. Not much in the way of content aside from a couple stray curses and some things that happen off screen can likely be imagined.

Oh, and it's in German.

*cackles at the casual nature of that disclaimer*
Any chance it's got an English dub?

Haha, just one of those things easily forgotten. πŸ˜›
I don't know. There are English subtitles, though.

DankeschΓΆn!

I have been maligned as if my support of the White Rose was a support of some French Revolutionaries involved in guillotining people ...
