That would be a great step, if it was true.
Saith WHAT?????????????????????????????????????????? Oh, I seriously hope that's real! *jumps around*
*to myself* Don't hope too high. Don't hope too high. It might not be real. Shh, shh, calm down.
Thanks for alerting us to this. I'll get my reporters investigating. Where have you seen it posted?

*Fans self* oh let it be true!
I'd take this with a grain of salt or like we do with all possible 'rumors'. It might be true and it might not. I recently saw (on tumblr actually. So take that with a grain of salt too.) about how easy it is to edit a page to make it look differently and saw something different than what the user posted. (The article was about not believing twitters screencaps in political articles ) We also know there are 'fake accounts' out there.
I know Ajjie our great Reporters leader will do what's best.
Hmm, interesting. I'm with the opinion of Lil, though, as much as I'd like this to be true. 🙂
Okay, well we've looked into it and can't find anything official confirming it. (The one twitter account that claims to have had confirmation from David Magee cites a different public David Magee account that we're not convinced is genuine). I'd say it is possible since he's the screen writer that he has been working on it and I think you need it mostly finished as a draft before you start casting etc, so in terms of timing he could have reached the end of the first step. But we have no evidence that this is the case.
I've written up a summary of what we do know about the SC film (which unfortunately isn't much and isn't anything new) but there have been some articles doing the rounds with false or rather misguided information and I thought it might be an idea to set straight what we do know).

How is one to confirm this with David Magee anyways, as some sites have claimed they have done?
Narniaweb just posted about this, so this is more likely true!
That's great! Here's a link: http://www.narniaweb.com/2015/06/silver-chair-script-is-complete/ (not affiliated with TLC - click at your own risk, etc.)
I think that Narnia Web contacted him via twitter (I think initially via the private account the tweet was supposed to appear on and then through an apparent public account). Neither have the "official" verification mark. I'm a little bit sceptical that the supposed public account is really his: there are a few things about it that make me feel iffy. For example, it's a very new account with not many followers and it strikes me as not what I'd expect from a screenwriter (also the way he describes himself seems a bit odd). But perhaps I'm being over sceptical or analytical (I've been dealing with students giving me fraudulant medical notes and plagerised essays this semester so I may be beginning to see fraudulance in places it doesn't exist). We'll see what we can find out from NW regarding exactly how they contacted him and let you know.

Hmmmm...Yeah I would like to know more about the actual correspondence instead of just "Narniaweb contacted him."
Looks like Narnia Fans has also contacted him through that twitter account.
