Whoa, is that Alby?!
Oh! War Horse! That's where I recognized him from! (great movie by the way) Yes, I could see him do that. He is a good actor and........yeah! I like him!
@Ariel: Yes, he does look very different doesn't he?
His eyes are a bit reminiscent of Ben Barnes', to me, which can't be bad considering. 🙂
I didn't recognize him at all!
Now that you mention it... yeah, he does have eyes (and nose) similar to Ben Barnes'.
I know this is an old thread, but, man, have I found someone I want to play Jill. She's Macenzie Foy. Here's a pic.
While she is already 18, she doesn't really look it, and she did an amazing job in Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and quite a bit of what she did struck me as quite "Jill-like," for lack of a better term. 😀
She looks too old to me, though makeup could de-age her. Haven’t seen Nutcracker, so maybe her acting would make up for it. Though if they don’t start filming soon, then she’d definitely end up playing an older Jill.
To me she looks like a mix between Anna Popplewell and Georgie Henley. 😆
For Rillian, I would cast Toby Regbo from Reign.(Non-TLC Friendly show.) I think someone even made a post about it with screen caps and putting Narnia qoutes over them. I made a fan cast once I just have to remember to post it. Katie McGrath is my pick for LotGK. I also noticed some of my other picks have been suggested in this thread.

That's what I thought too! (I haven't seen the movie, just the trailers.)
The question is, are they going to have Jill and Eustace played by teens or children? According to the timeline, they are about 8 or 9 years old in SC and about 15 or 16 years old in LB. https://www.thelionscall.com/books-and-movies/timeline/
If they were filming the stories back to back they could have teen actors, and it is easier for them to find actors at this age than child actors (apparently, a lot of girls that tried out for Lucy were so young that they couldn't read the lines well).
Lil, it would be interesting to see Katie McGrath as LotGK. I would probably subconsciously think she was Morgana! I saw her movie called A Princess for Christmas and kept thinking she was Morgana from Merlin. I can't really get into a movie if I recognize the actor from another.

I loved her in a Princess for Christmas! It was nice to see her in a role that wasn't evil. 😀
(edited: Second post below)
So here's the picture fancast that I made last year or so and threw together.
That's Sam West in the red. I think he could still make a good old Caspian, though I really wasn't sure about the kids or young Caspian
Aslan- Liam Neeson
Jill - Sophie Nélisse (or Amybeth McNulty)
Eustace - Levi Miller (or Lucas Jade Zumann)
Puddleglum- as Peter Capaldi.
Old Caspian - Samuel West
Younger Caspian - Robbie Kay?
Prince Rilian - Tony Regbo
The Lady of The Green Kirtle - Katie Mcgrath
Drinian Gary Sweet
Glimfeather - Tom Baker
Head Gnome - Kevin Doyle
I just had another thought. Alexander Vlahos as young Caspian? Probably too old like Ben Barnes was?
Well, “young” Caspian doesn’t have to look the exact way Rustace last saw him, right? Though I’d imagine we’d want someone a bit younger.
Is there any news on the Silver Chair? I haven’t heard any in a while. I’ve been anticipating this movie for what, 10 years now??? How is that possible?
The last I've heard is that screenwriter David Magee is no longer involved. The last thing before that was the Netflix announcement.
Right now, I feel like for every step we take forward, we take another one back. It's probably not quite true, but that's how it seems to me....
Lil, your picks for Head Gnome and Rillian are very believable as those characters.
Ariel, I'm kind of worried that the movie companies are just paying to "hold" the film rights instead of make the movies. Sometimes movie companies will buy movie rights to books just to keep other companies from buying the rights and making movies that will compete against whatever they are making at the time. I heard an interview of one illustrator who kept selling the movie rights to his books over and over again because the companies didn't actually make movies and just wanted to prevent their competitors from making movies about his books. (The illustrator wasn't upset because he was able to keep selling the rights and make money off of them.) I'm kind of worried that that is what's happening to Narnia.
