HAHA! That's epic. π I don't even remember the last time I got 8...
Polly!
Wow, I can't even imagine.
Polly!
Okay, update: I got 9 hours of sleep on Sunday night. I then, of course, remedied it with less than four again last night. π I can never actually manage a steady, consistent sleep schedule no matter what I try and I'm not sure why that is...
Polly is going to the East Sea today.
Nice! Also same with the sleep schedule. I didn't sleep at all last night and I've been awake all day. π
Polly!
Polly wonders what happened to her notifications.

Polly!
Polly wonders if sheβs falling into another Jane Austen kick. Iβve just finished the Pride and Prejudice miniseries and am very close to just turning on Sense and Sensibility too. And I kinda feel like rereading at least some of the books.
Polly thinks she should change her set one of these days...
@Ariel: Ooh! I've never read any Jane Austen but I've seen a lot of the movies. Not the same as reading, of course, but at least I'm familiar with the characters.
@Dilly: π Maybe. Also hi!
Polly!
@Dilly: haha, maybe, especially since thatβs a goose set! π
@hobbit: Iβve only seen a few. The long Pride and Prejudice, the Emma Thompson Sense and Sensibility, the Gwenyth Paltrow Emma, and a couple of the older BBC ones, the 1999 Mansfield Park (which I do NOT recommend because of one particular scene), and about fifteen minutes of the Kiera Knightly Pride and Prejudice. Of these, I only liked the first three. (I walked out of the Keira Knightly one (not in theaters) because I didnβt like the speed of the story.)
Polly
@Ariel: it has served me well π
@hobbit: hello π
Polly will change her set
@Ariel: I've seen...I think three P&P adaptations but have seen only the BC more than once. I've seen the Emma Thompson S&S, and I've seen Emma and Persuasion but I'm not sure which ones.
Polly loves Dilly's new set!
Digory. Write a sonnet about Bree.
(@ my previous post: I meant to write BBC. Autocorrect had other ideas. π )
This is not at all what I was expecting to turn up with when I started writing it, but here:
Upon the southern fields in youth I strayedβ
In seeking for adventure, sought far lands.
My mother warned me βnoβ; I disobeyed,
And by my folly found enslaving hands.
In time I would escape, but not alone:
To thwart suspicion I a rider found
Who neβer could cross the border on his own,
So to each otherβs fates we both were bound.
Two others came in time who freedom sought,
And joined our mad crusade to reach the north:
Two thralls long caged, a bride unwilling bought,
A son whose birth none knew, we sallied forth.
And in the end the slaves free beasts became,
The bride found love in truth, the son his name.
Polly!
Splendid sonnet, Hobbit!
