My brothers and I have always thought it was amusing that they brought back Edmund's flashlight/electric torch in VODT and then he again left it behind.
We thought it would be funny if Caspian kept it safe somewhere in the hope of giving it to Eustace if and when he came back so he could return it to Edmund, and then they used the torch in SC, bringing it to the Parliament of Owls, and on the journey north, and finally used it in the Sunlit Lands...and then Eustace forgot to bring it back...
...and then in LB they still have kept in hope of returning it someday, and it's in the tower or something so that Tirian gives it to Eustace, and the torch is finally returned to Edmund. In Aslan's country.
Just a weird little thought. 😛 🙄
I hadn't even thought about the fact that Ed left it behind in VDT! 😆
That might turn out to be a good story, Hobbit.... but not from the torch's perspective. That would just be weird. 😛
Did you write it?
Don't write it. You'll be charged with battery! 😉
😆 😆 😆
Too bad Digory couldn't get his hands on that torch and plant a torch-tree.
Like the lamppost except it's just this beacon that shoots a beam of light straight up into the sky. 😆

All Narnian locals know that Lantern Waste is where you go to commemorate the kings and queens of old, but Torch Rave Tree is where you go to party like it's 2555.
Heee. These are fun ideas. I may have snuck the torch into my Susan fic. Edmund has it on him during the accident so Susan gets it back with her family's possessions (I forget if I explained how it got back to our world but I'm working in BookVerse so I guess it was after VDT). It comes in handy again later in the story. It's also definitely acquired some Narnia magic during its stay there because it never runs out of battery lower.
Once a daughter of Eve. Now a daughter of the Second Adam.
If I remember right Ajnos you put a new torch that Digory (the Prosfesseur) had given him to replace the old one. I imagined she was just careful with the batteries.
He does all things well.
@Swan: That's great, I love it.
@KoN: You're right! Embarrassing when someone remembers your story better than you 😳

Don't worry Anjos I've re-read it once or twice.
