Yeah it's a shame.

I actually liked how in the book all the mice had drawn their swords before Aslan asked why. Here, Peepiceek explained before any of the other mice followed suit.

Huh, looks like I forgot to hit "submit..."

Well, now that I reheard the fake lyrics, I suddenly don't mind them putting it after the "Memory Tree."

@Ariel: 😆 😆 😆

@Hermit: Huh, interesting. But...the original lyrics kind of fit better, I think. I don't get why they rewrote them.

These credits are like 14 minutes long. 😆

And yet, we Marvelites sit through longer credits just to get to post-credit scenes... 😛

The LotR ones are really long. *My family has a habit of watching credits for our last name.*

Even though we don't know anyone in the movie industry.

I actually partly approve of the Jadis scene. Im always less offended when a movie further develops an existing plot poiny than when it invwnts its own. Same with the bit of Ella Enchanted where they developed rhe assassination plotline that was only a vague fear in the book...too bad the whole movie was a train wreck.

@Swan: Your compassion is a boon in this troubled time. 😉 *clicks link*

@hermit: sometimes I'll sit through all the credits. I tend to skip Narnia's because I hate most of the songs.

The ROTK EE is long because it includes everyone who paid $100 in fan club dues.

@kristi: what, really?!

Wow. Whoever edited the "This is Home" video is not as good as the one who did "Remembering You". The movie clips in this one don't jive with the music....

I've never actually sat through the full LOTR credits. My brothers and I usually put in the next disc right away like, "Maybe we can get partway through the next one before anybody noticed we finished this one!"

Well, thanks for joining us tonight, everyone! Can't believe we filled up eighteen pages of this thread! WOW! Haha.

This thread will stay open for another week or so, so if you want to keep discussing the movie (and re-read and respond to others' comments more thoroughly) and engage with anyone who'll be adding their comments late, feel free!
(Personally, I'd appreciate any help in sorting out the holes in my Glozelle theory, namely, why he'd lead the charge against the Narnians at Aslan's How and why he'd leave at the end. 😉 )
