π It didnβt used to bother me as much, but now? It does. Still watch it, still enjoy it for what it is, but I tend to complain a whole lot more.
I should be able to contain myself to mild crossness, with a little sarcasm thrown in. Probably some sincere appreciation for Will Poulter's acting and the design of the Dawn Treader.
I still just pretend it's a very expensive fanfiction when I watch it...
I think we would be just fine with the sarcasm, Swan. I bet most, of not all, of us would join in. π
Thatβs one way to look at it, Hobbit. π
Yes, it is best not to take the adaptions too seriously so that we can enjoy them. And DT was better than some adaptions - such as the one for Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well." - John 14:6-7a
Caspian was the last Narnia movie I watched, so whenever ya'll are ready, I'm willing to give VDT a shot... and some petty critique. β
It's .........OK. In the very loosest sense of the word.
I'll save the rest of my spiel for the actual watch, provided I don't end up repeating everyone else. π
If we keep up the trend of watching the Walden ones on their 10th anniversaries, VDT would be slated to show in the TLCinema late next year.
