Rather, my interpretation was that Aslan has proven himself faithful; Lucy is suggesting that they need to prove their faithfulness to him, not in the sense that he needs that assurance, but in the sense that they need to apply themselves to it.
That is better, thanks for sharing.
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. If you really knew Me, you would know My Father as well." - John 14:6-7a
Edmund's "duel" with Miraz is one of the best parts of the whole movie! He doesn't say much, but he really doesn't need to!
@hermit: welcome!
So Susan just stands there, exposed. Why?! I would have gone behind a tree to do some quality sniping before being discovered.
@Hermit: HAHA, that changes the way Miraz's facial expression should be interpreted!
"I hope you won't be too disappointed when I survive," says the Telmarine jerk king.
"He who puts on his armor should not boast like he who takes it off," says the Israelite jerk king who apparently has a bit more wisdom despite still being a jerk.
The "plan" of wandering out to find Aslan doesn't really make sense from any perspective.
@Swan: Seriously. That part always bugged me.
Also, they had a whole lifetime in Narnia to ask, "What do you think happens back home if you die here?" Why ask it now? Shoulda stayed with Peter's original line of, "Give everyone my love."
@Hermit You you something insisting, Miraz kill his brother because he wanted the throne. Jadis used the Deplorable Word so her sister wouldn't take the Chran throne. Yet, they go Agents four siblings who rule together.
Caspian needs to start wearing Narnian colors if he doesn't want the Narnians attacking him by accident.

At least we're starting to see Peter acting like Peter.
Ah, they're all cheering for Susan when she runs into the How, not the smiling Single Combat people.
Glozelle's innocent "who, me?" head tilt.
Miraz calling Peter "His Highness" instead of "Your Majesty" is a bit insulting, honestly.
"His Majesty's doing extremely well for his age." Which his-majesty are you referring to, Glozelle?
Peter's Very Convincing Smile of Reassurance. Good acting, Peter. And the Oscar goes to...
Enter the Narnian Shield Fighting. As much a Narnian trademark as the Tumnus handshake.
Edmund would never say it wasn't time for chivalry!
I thought the same thing, Swanwhite. Though he's seen more of the lack of chivalry among the Telmarines. He knows that chivalry puts Peter at a disadvantage. Still out of character, though.
Luthien: "Every time's the time for chivalry."
Me: especially in this movie.

@Hobbit: *snork!* Peter's Oscar...
@Swan: Plus, Peter's cheap shot kinda already threw chivalry out the window.
Hey, we cringe at the Narnian shield fighting and the Jadis in ice scene but it's probably what got the scriptwriters the Captain America movie scripting gig after they abandoned Narnia.
