*finds the sigs amusing in conjunction* 🙂
Watched God's Not Dead tonight.
😛
... *sigh* This has been one of the best worst days ever.
"Best worst days". Care to explain? 😉
😆 Well you see, when I have bad days, they're normally so bad that I just become extremely depressed and it's not good. 😕 🙄 But today was a good bad day because, I mean, I'm glad it's over, but I don't feel too bad about it. I just kinda want to go to sleep now.
😆 😛
God's Not Dead but the professor is. 🙄 *doesn't like that movie - at all* Say Goodnight Kevin points out basically everything wrong/I didn't like about it.
In other news, we might have a house!!
@Ela: YAY! I'm so happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope it works out! 😮 Wow!
Edit: Going to bed now. 🙁 Goodnight. And good morning to Jaygee, since I know she'll be online soon. 😆 😉
@Elanor: It's better than a couple other Christian movies I've seen, but I do have a couple issues with it, both with the premise and with the storytelling. With the premise, the kid says that he thinks that God needs him (the kid) to defend Him in class. God doesn't need anyone to do anything for Him. Yes, He wants us to stand up for the truth, but He is more than capable of taking care of Himself so far as "needing" defence goes. As for the storytelling side, I didn't really get why there was focus on the woman with cancer, the prof's student-girlfriend, the converted Muslim, and the pastor. I mean, yeah, they all contribute to the theme, but they're their own stories. (And sorry, I like the Newsboys and respect Willie Robertson, but I felt like they were shoehorned in, myself.) Anyway.
And hurrah for a possible house!! I hope that it's a good fit for your family!
