But, I mean, it's hard to listen to Daddy having to try to placate that person who has an opinion contrary to the majority one but has never attended a "work day" where the men work on the addition and hasn't been to a business meeting in over...probably 3 years.
That guy said, "Chairs just aren't 'churchy.'" Well then, the church in China that meets underground isn't a church. The church in Africa that doesn't have access to pews isn't a church. The first century church wasn't a church! They were sitting in the windowsills, for goodness sake!
He also said that the trustees are in charge of the church. Um, excuse me, sir, but, last time I checked, JESUS CHRIST was in charge of the church!!! Argh!

I actually prefeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer pews and more traditional stuff, but it doesn't really matter what kind of seating you have in a church. If you ask me, anyway. 😕
