😛 Sometimes I feel like doing that when I do something stupid.
Just watched Big Hero 6 for the first time. Man, that is an emotionally touching movie. I can't even say anything else right now.
😀 Once you've collected all your thoughts, we'd love to hear them!
First off, man, the entire movie hit me right in the feels! I only shed a tear or two during the movie, when Hiro tried to make Baymax destroy, but then after the movie was over and I was trying to go to bed, I kept thinking about it and it did me in. :'( You know, it just really touched me, I guess especially so after losing both of my grandpas. I kept thinking "I want a Baymax! I want a big Baymax hug." And then I got to thinking about how God is our healer. When we're hurt or upset we can go to him for comfort. Anyway, it was just a comforting thought.
Back to the actual movie...
We watched it once and then watched it again with my dad. My dad really liked it! He said he was really surprised, it wasn't at all what he thought it was going to be. Anyway, I really enjoyed it. I loved Tadashi, and Hiro, and Baymax, and Honey Lemon, and the rest of the gang. I loved Wasbi's driving! And I laughed at Fred's comments and his house. Interestingly, my sister thought the man in the kabuki mask was going to turn out to be Tadashi. Um, can't think of anything else right now. If more thoughts come to me, I'll post them. 😛
I know! I think it's the most unexpectedly emotional movie I've ever watched. BH6 didn't have me in tears, only two films thus far have, but it hit me in a more subtle way when, like you, I kept thinking about it. It wasn't until a while later I watched a scene online, "Tadashi is Here", that my feels were really hurt and I got teary... Now that is a very comforting thought, and so very true.
There's a lot in it to like, methinks, but then I am a big BH6 fan. 😛 I'm hoping for a sequel, a good sequel.
Random thought: The last time I watched it, (it's only been four times and once was in French), I noticed the parallels between Hiro's botfight at the beginning and then during his confrontation with Yokai. I don't know how I didn't pick up on this, at least not as fully as I have now, but I find it interesting how Hiro's use of Megabot and Baymax are very similar. In a way Baymax became Hiro's own fighter-bot and just like he did with Megabot he changed him from something benign into something terrible.
and now I want to watch it again...
Tadashi as Yokai... there's an AU twist.
Now you guys have me wanting to watch it again too, but my boss is borrowing it....
I've actually seen some interesting fanart with Tadashi as Yokai... My sister thought it was going to be him too. I wonder why...
I thought it was Krei up until the moment the mask came off. Then I was all like, "... duh, it's the professor...." I tend to change my mind last minute on things.
I assumed it would be Krei, but I was hoping it was not, because it being Krei seemed so predictable, even for a Disney film. So yes, I did enjoy the twist with the professor. But it made it so sad that Tadashi died trying to save him.
Okay, first off... you have the hat?!
Second... uh... L-loooooki?
Yes, I do! The SF is a little too orange but I can probably fix it with a fabric marker. It also has the little ninja logo on the back.
It's a standee Eria has for her party. She tried it on Hiro first but it wouldn't stay on. It worked on Elsa, though.

Where did you get it?!
Aw, bummer. And you have multiple standees?!
*dies* Well, hello there, Loki! Going to cause some mischief in San Fransokyo? There just might happen to be a crew of 6 superheroes ready to defeat you (again!).
