Oh, really...?

Goose! Please write a verse Beowulf-style (a.k.a. Old English or Norse) about making fried eggs. Make sure you use a lot of kennings. And feel free to make any number of references to Wyrd and fate. 😉
EXAMPLE:
And more: the lord of Herot ordered
Treasure-gifts for each of the Geats
Who'd sailed with Beowulf and still sat beside him,
Ancient armor and swords--and for the one
Murdered by Grendel gold was carefully
Paid. The monster would have murdered again
And again had not God, and the hero's courage,
Turned fate aside. Then and now
Men must lie in their Maker's holy
Hands, moved only as He wills:
Our hearts must seek out that will. The world,
And it's evil; all who remain here meet both.

(From Beowulf, the Mentor Classic translation.)

What style? I don't know what qualifies as Beowulf-style!

Two posts between gooses. Sorry 😛 I should probably post the rules at the beginning since we haven't played this at so long, eh?

No it was the person who was goosing had to say duck twice inbetween each goose. There was never a rule about that. None that I had heard anyway.

*nods* there is that rule. There's also a rule you have to have two ducks between each goose. That's always been there 🙂 it may take me a little while, but I'm sure I can find it in the archives. Do I need to look? 🙂

Duck 🙂

Oh also: Alex's goose. Help, Alex, I don't know what I'm doing! o.o *rubs her forehead* here goes! I... probably won't really use kennings. I just learned what they are. But I'll Try! Gimme some time though?

Actually, if you want it that way, I don't even care! 😛 From now on, regardless of times past, it's ONE duck required in between each post. In both situations also.

So this is illegal:
Cor: goose!
Me: duck
Cor: goose!

And this is illegal
Cor: goose
Me: goose

If you goosed, you have to duck once before you can goose again. And if someone has been goosed, there has to be a post between their goose and the next goose.

*changes her location*
