Rats you ol' Dilly.
Don’t you ‘rats’ me!
I just made a sacrifice, you see
Putting myself in Tenny’s place is nothing to be
Shunned. And with that, I shall duck then run and be free
Here's the half cheesy/half tragic poem, Ariel. 🙂
He was a dwarf,
Young for his race.
She was an elf,
Fighting with grace.
He, a captive.
She, a captain.
Their story is tragic,
Strange to imagine.
In barrels he fled,
with her giving chase,
In Laketown he hid,
as she neared that place.
He lay fading, alone save a few.
She, with healing touch, arrived.
To his bedside she flew,
And he was revived.
(Warning-Speculations ahead!)
A dragon came, and they went to fight,
Side by side, their arrows flying
through the fire-lit night.
The dragon was pierced, and fell, dying.
The battle came, fierce and long,
Elves and men and dwarves fought.
The enemy, evil and strong,
Very much terror wrought.
Defending his king, he fell,
To his side she battled her way.
Of his love, he did tell.
She was alone from that day.
