I have seen it...... Woah woah woah. Giant Bats!?!? What did Thranduil do to Tauriel? Cut her hair? Kili.....This trailer has gone wrong in so many ways...

I love the tension and the conflict. And it's looking like Bilbo does go and sneak off (here's hoping!). Elrond just looks fantastic. *grins* (Apparently, I fangirl over Elvish armour. But you all already knew that.) Kili/Tauriel = *headdesksigh* Thranduil-vs-Tauriel = ... oh no, please tell me she doesn't fight on the dwarves' side and against her own king....

So, the trailer... it took way too long to arrive and now that's it's come I feel a tad disappointed. Not that I didn't like it but it didn't give me the excitement the other trailer did. I was hoping it would give more insight into the movie but it only added to my questions... Thranduil, Tauriel, Kili, and what's going on with the lack of Fili? *Sigh* I suppose I'll just have to wait for the film itself...

Ah, Tauriel. As long as Kili doesn't die in her arms, she doesn't die herself, and her screen time doesn't take away from the main story I should be fine. To me she's an okay addition and I actually dislike Legolas' presence more than hers...

I've decided to lower my expectations this time around. Last year I was overly hyped for DoS and was severely disappointed; I like it now (some parts still irk me to no end) but I still like UJ much more. Anyway, I'm going to stay as spoiler free as I can and have extremely low hopes. It'll be easier to enjoy it that way, I think.
