On another note, I am kind of looking forward to seeing Thranduil.

I am so excited to see Thranduil. There's not much of him in the book and, because of something I'd thought about a while ago, I want to know more, so I'm hoping that the movie will help some. 🙂

I can't wait to see him either! I LOVE his voice (and can't seem to get over it) And there wasn't that much in the book to really go off of so I want to see what they do with him 🙂

Yes, the voice. I like the voice. It's like... a deeper, more solemn, more resonant version of Tom Hiddleston's smooth tones. For a moment, I thought it was actually Hiddleston's voice in the trailer even though I knew he wasn't in it.
