@Ariel: (about reverse culture shock) I don't know yet? I mean, there's a lot of stuff that's surprising (like having not everyone be Asian and having allllll the signs be in English!!), but it's not really...culture shock exactly.

Jill has been having spotty WiFi for pretty much the entire time since we got here and it been making keeping up my streak on DuoLingo very stressful. If this ends up being the case for the whole two and a half months of furlough I'm going to be a bit frazzled by the end. 😛

Jill thinks that movie horse races are way more intense and climactic than RL ones. 😛
