@hobbit: They didn't show you your x-rays? They had no problem showing me.... Mine weren't perfectly horizontal either, but if you compared that x-ray with the one from five years before, you could tell that they had just been rotating in there and they were pretty close to horizontal.
Why do I not remember any of that stuff? O_O
Oh, nice! I didn't have a problem with cameras (my parents aren't those kind of people and I didn't even seen friends during that time (this was in the summer)).
@berry: psst! I broke every rule when it came to braces except the one about sugary gum. I ate popcorn and gummy things, bit meat straight off of the bone and corn off the cob, stopped cutting apples and carrots after a while.... Yep. Just be careful and you'll have minimal difficulty with eating whatever you want. ๐
Don't listen to Ariel. I think about doing those things and break a bracket. Lol
Well, I did pop all six of my allotted freebies... but as soon as the sixth broke, I didn't break anymore... somehow....
Teeth ... sometimes these hurt ...
@Jaygee, would you consider Han Solo as a fictional equivalent of Magellan?
I mean, considering Magellan at last proved beyond any reasonable doubt that Earth was round (the fact was familiar, but not fully proven), and that there are no Real Life Magellans for Heliocentrism.
Haven't gotten that far, Hans. I finished episode 2 last night. (Aygee said to watch them in chronological order, not 4-6, 1-3. Don't know why, exactly, since everyone else [including her at one time] says to start at number 4.)
*staggers in shakily after being sucked into real life* ๐ฏ That was rough. o.o
@ Albero earlier: !!!!!! I'm pretty sure we're going to visit Gypsy and Teeny next month too!!!! Like... from what I've heard, you'll be there pretty soon after we leave.
YESSSS!!! Jaygee likes Star Wars! ... it's kind of like how people argue over reading LWW or MN first. ๐ 1-3 gives background. ... I liked 4-6 better, though. ๐ My sister is a big Star Wars nerd. ๐ ... like, to the point of that she has a complete Jedi costume (except for a light saber ๐ ๐ ) and that I was dragged into the fandom and have my own Jedi costume too. o.O Yupyup. I'm weird. ๐
.... this has been a random post, and I doubt if it made any sense to anybody else. ๐
EDIT: Wheeee!! Eleventy-first post in this thread!!
@Jaygee: I steer clear of Star Wars myself (except when I'm in the mood to watch a couple fight scenes), but Nia's right about the order. Especially since the Luke trilogy (4-6) is the much better one, from what I understand from my Warsian friends.
Oh oh oh. Random Star Wars fact for anyone out there who might be interested. Richard Armitage, Thorin, plays a guard in the first or second film - Eria and I played spot the dwarf as he's seriously difficult to pick out from the lot but we did end up seeing him (this is the only reason I sat through several minutes of SW.)
@ Nia: Real life is so annoying.
@Ela: Wish I'd known that before I watched those. ๐
I was about to explode about how much Star Wars rocks then I decided otherwise.
Yeah lol OOH I Want a star wars set!!! I can see them on my phone too lol
Do you all remember the time almost half of the TLC forum "regulars" were wearing those lightsaber-to-the-knee sets? ๐
Lol that was me and areul going at each other hehe
